Our Taste Of Africa is offered in 2 of the most Afro-cosmopolitan areas in Joburg rich in African cuisine. Yeoville (3pm)-one of the most diverse suburbs in South Africa, known for being highly Afro-cosmopolitan with many African nationals found in one square mile and a rich history due to the migration into South Africa. Maboneng-(12pm & 5pm ) a new suburb in Johannesburg which is home to Art, Culture,graffiti and a variety of African foods Both these areas offer great experiences when it comes to african cuisine.Our Taste of Africa experience will give you a taste of the continent with no visa requirements or expensive flights. The experience will offer guests the ability to try a variety of different African foods from – South African meals – Ghanaian – Nigerian – Cameroonian – Zimbabwean – Congolese Each food tasting will include at least 4 dishes we will be trying on the day. Swartberg Pass Tour including Traditional Karoo Lunch


Experience the beauty of the Swartberg mountains (UNESCO World Heritage site) as you travel to the summit of the world famous, Swartberg Pass. This national monument dates back to 1881 and offers stunning panoramic views of the Little and Great Karoo which you can overlook over 200km with your bare eyes. From the summit guests are able to take a walk in the reserve between 500 different species of fauna and flora. There are several photo opportunities along this winding route which will leave you at awe. After the hike there’s an opportunity to add downhill mountain biking to get the adrenalin pumping. (Additional costs apply.) After the tour enjoy Traditional Karoo Cuisine at Kobus se Gat Restaurant. Feast on certified Karoo lamb chops, boerewors, ostrich kebabs, pumpkin fritters and variety of salads and vegetables all freshly harvested from the gardens at the restaurant. Freshly baked Roosterkoek (traditional bread) served with homemade marmalades forms part of the meal.
