Spend up to 2-hours taking a Manga lesson from a professional Japanese Manga artist in English. This lesson can be adjusted to suit the student’s skill level, so whether you are a beginner or an experienced manga artist, you can learn something new and enjoy the experience. The lesson will have manga tools such as manga-paper, manga pens and ink, screen-tone, etc, prepared for your use. All you have to do is bring yourself. The teacher is Nao Yazawa, she is most well known for her manga series Wedding Peach, which was made into an anime series of the same name. Both the manga and anime series were translated into several languages. Since 2008, she has been teaching manga workshops (in English) internationally, in Germany, Denmark, Austria, Canada, and the United States. She also wrote/draw How to draw manga books, MANGA Drawing Deluxe and Drawing and Painting Anime and Manga Faces, in English and several languages.

While the focus is of course the Anime and Mangas and the 2.5 dimensional world that this consists, we will be looking deeper and explore the backstreets of Akihabara and check out some of the food culture, game consoles, pop culture snacks, cosplay, purikura, arcade games and more. Should time allow, we may visit other otaku spots to help you get a bigger picture of the otaku world. We may visit one of the top three shrines of EDO Tokyo to give you a glimpse of the historical and traditional culture aspect aside of the pop culture available here in Akihabara should you be willing to tip the guide for additional services. A unique Maid Cafe Theatre performed by actual maids cafe maids can be provided as an option on Wednesday which the traveler must reserve beforehand as tickets can be difficult to obtain.
