Kenai Fjords and Resurrection Bay Half-Day Wildlife Cruise


Search for whales, sea otters, Steller sea lions, Dall’s porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, puffins, and many other types of marine birds as you cruise the the protected waters of Resurrection Bay on this 4 hour cruise. Rather than following a set route, this cruise travels to the best whale and wildlife viewing areas that day based on reports from other vessels. The experienced captains will explore the area’s wildlife hot spots to maximize your chances of viewing whales and other wildlife. Wildlife and Glaciers with a walk in the Rainforest


This tour is a great way to experience some amazing sights of Alaska, wildlife, glaciers, and a rainforest within a half day. Your guide will pick you up from downtown Anchorage and drive along Turnagain Arm, which boasts abundant scenic views and Alaskan wildlife within easy access to the city of Anchorage. Along the way, you will learn many interesting facts about this area’s history, animals, and ecosystem from your experienced guide. You will visit the Wildlife Conservation Center, located at the end of Turnagain Arm and surrounded by mountain peaks. You will have the chance to explore on your own and visit the many animals in the center, including brown bears, wolfs, caribou, moose, and the endangered Woodland Bison. After the Wildlife Center, you will have the opportunity to see the majestic Portage Valley, a few miles drive from the Wildlife Center. Nature Walk in Glacier National Park


Meet at Glacier Guides & Montana Raft at 9:30am to meet your guide and go over a brief orientation. Once in Glacier, you'll get to explore Glacier's natural wonders on a guided adventure! Start with a 1-mile round trip walk through Lake McDonald Valley, admiring its glaciated beauty and resident wildlife. Then, venture to the North Fork Valley with scenic stops en route. Take another 1-mile round trip walk along the Wild and Scenic North Fork of the Flathead River, learning about the environment and its history. This engaging nature walk is easy, offering captivating insights. After the walk, return to the Glacier Guides and Montana Raft office in the early afternoon, benefiting from your knowledgeable guide's expertise. Typically, the tour concludes around 1:30 PM.


Winter – Wildlife & Turnagain Arm Tour


t the 140-acre Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, jaws drop in awe-even those of longtime Alaskans. AWCC’s mission is to provide refuge for orphaned, injured and ill animals-those that can’t survive in the wild. The center also educates visitors about Alaska’s Wildlife. Amateur photographers have the opportunity to take award winning photographs of animals displayed in their natural surroundings.


Bear Glacier Scenic Signature Flight


Our 45 minute scenic flight visits both Bear Glacier and Aialik Glacier. Bear Glacier is the largest glacier descending from the Harding Icefield in Kenai Fjords National Park at over 11 miles long and 3 miles wide. Bear Glacier lagoon features impressive icebergs. Continue on to Aialik Glacier which boasts an impressive ice wall that is over 500 feet high! Watch for calving on this immense glacier and truly appreciate the grandeur of Alaska's environments by getting up close to them!


Alaska Helicopter and Glacier Dogsled Tour – ANCHORAGE AREA

Drive your own sled-dog team with 6 time Iditarod winner Dallas Seavey's team of mushers, handlers and champion dogs on real snow in the middle of summer surrounded by amazing scenery. Start this adventure with a helicopter ride over glaciers. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and goats. Land on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with champion sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer. Take the dog team for a ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush a dog team or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After your dogsled tour meet the canine athletes that pulled your sled, and of course take pictures with your favorite dogs. After the tour the helicopter takes you back to the lodge and you’ll fly over the lower glaciers where you can see the blue melt pools and the crevasses. Mendenhall Glacier Float Trip


A must-see sight while in port in Juneau is the Mendenhall Glacier and on this exciting 3.5-hour white-water rafting tour, you'll get up close to this impressive natural wonder! Grand Knik Helicopter Tour – 2 hours 3 landings – ANCHORAGE AREA


Our signature flightseeing and glacier landing tour, includes 30 mins of flightseeing and 30 mins landed at 3 Glacier areas including on the glacier itself. This tour includes an alpine landing where you will have 30 mins to see the grand size of the 5 mile wide and 29 mile long Knik Glacier with a birds eye view. Your 2nd landing takes you to a 100 foot ice wall where you may even be able to see the massive ice calve . After 30 minutes exploring you go to the glacier landing right in the middle of Knik Glacier, where you can get out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes exploring ancient ice. Full-Day Matanuska Glacier Small-Group Excursion


The Matanuska Glacier is the largest and most magnificent glacier in Alaska with road access. We will drive you to within about 1/2 mile of the face of the glacier, where we'll start our hike. We'll be hiking on the glacier for two to two and a half hours, and walk about 2 to 3 miles. There is little elevation change, and the hike difficulty is rated as moderate. The glacier is about a two-hour drive from Anchorage. We will stop about half way there for a restroom break, where you will also have the opportunity to purchase coffee and whatever you'd like to have to eat while we're out. Bottled water is provided.
