Lake Issyk with Bear Waterfall tour
As a morning warm-up in the fresh air, you will have a short hike deep into the Turgen mountain gorge, where the picturesque Bear waterfall is located. Brown bear watching experience at the Bear Sanctuary
Opened in 2005, the "Libearty" bear sanctuary is the largest animal welfare project in Europe, a corner of heaven for mistreated bears. The bears at the sanctuary have been rescued from a cruel and abusive life in captivity, with each bear having an impressive story.
"Libearty" is currently home to over 130 bears, it is recognized as the most ethical sanctuary in the world, spread over 70 hectares of oak forest with trees where bears climb, with pools where bears swim , with adequate food according to veterinarians' diets.
