Our cabin is located in Skyline, one of the best aurora viewing spots in Fairbanks, perched on a towering mountaintop far from the city lights. It faces a northern valley where the aurora frequently appears. Multiple outdoor viewing platforms provide ample space for guests to take photos, ensuring everyone enjoys a private, uninterrupted experience while marveling at the northern lights. Inside the cabin, the flames in the hearth dance joyfully, casting a warm glow on the wooden ceilings and walls, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere. With a cup of hot chocolate in hand, you can admire the graceful dance of the aurora through the large glass windows, feeling as though it’s within reach. Outside, the world is still and silent, with only the aurora sweeping across the sky. I've been an outdoor adventure guide in Big Bear for the last five years. I've been exploring all the best hiking trails in the Big Bear Valley for the last 20 years. It's hard to find an easy hike in Big Bear; A lot of trails are steep and hard for little kids. This trail is actually stroller-friendly also, which you can not say about a lot of hiking trails in the mountain communities. I love the peace and solitude of this trail in the woods. It's hiked mostly by locals who live in this neighborhood and is not a tourist spot. I personally love to share the local history around the Big Bear Valley. I really enjoy pointing out different flora and fauna to my younger guests and teaching them how interesting nature can be like the wild native insects we might see on the trails

Our Special Reserve, the premium wine of the winery made from a mixture of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sirah and Nebbiolo in which the diverse soils of the region are expressed: Valle de Guadalupe, San Antonio de las Minas and San Vicente.

Yellowstone Hiking Guides safely leads hiking groups into the Lamar Valley on a wildlife viewing day hike tour. Our guides are experts and fun is a top priority. Regularly, we spot wolves, bears, and other rare wildlife from the trail in the backcountry of Yellowstone. Our tours are off the beaten path, traveling on bison trails for the majority of the hike. Most tour providers in Yellowstone spend the majority of the day on the road, or very close to the road. Our guides take you into the backcountry for unique views of the Lamar Valley that you cannot see from the roadway. Frequently, our guests tell us that they could not do this hike on their own. Depart from our Campbell River Marine Adventure Centre aboard our comfortable, heated, covered vessels for a scenic 2 hour boat trip into Bute Inlet. Your arrival at the dock in Orford Bay begins a 3 hour land-based experience led by members of the Homalco First Nations. Local Indigenous guides will transport you by bus to a variety of raised wildlife viewing platforms and prime ground viewing locations to look for the magnificent grizzly bear, elk, bald eagles, and more. The grizzly bears converge on the Orford River valley between August and October every year to feast on the spawning salmon in preparation for the long winter hibernation. The “Libearty” bear Sanctuary is not a zoo! The mission of the sanctuary is to save the captive animals who lived in miserable conditions, offering them the necessary care, decent living conditions in a natural environment within an area of 69 hectares of forests, streams and pools. The “Libearty” Sanctuary does not receive any public funds! It is built and administered by the Millions of Friends Association, a non-governmental organization.
