This tour journeys through fabled Joshua Tree National Park. Those beginning in Palm Desert will ride in an air conditioned shuttle for comfort. The total tour length is about 5 hours if taking our shuttle. Just one hour from Colorado Springs, Echo Canyon's Bighorn Sheep Canyon Half Day rafting trip is the most popular of our river experiences with miles of splashy class II and III whitewater at most water flows. You'll paddle through a number of adventurous rapids but don't forget to keep an eye out for Bighorn Sheep and other wildlife native to this region of Colorado. This is a beginner to intermediate section of whitewater intended for kids as young as about 6 years of age. Swimming ability is recommended, and guests should in relatively good physical condition and stable on their feet. Paddling is not required for this trip for those who prefer to hang on while floating the river. Time of the river is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Considered a modern marvel of the world, Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam located in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River and is the most-visited dam in the world. The dam created Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States (in terms of capacity), which supplies water to farms, businesses and millions of people in Nevada, Arizona, California and Mexico. Nearby Boulder City, located just 6 miles from the dam site, was built and designed by the government to house and feed the dam workers.

First we drive by the Stanley Hotel and talk about its rich history, then stop at an energy vortex on your way to Sheep's Lake; where the bighorn sheep love to hangout. Take a short stroll to a glorious waterfall where you can take amazing photos. Drive up Trail Ridge Road or Old Fall River Road (a gentle one way dirt road that is open from about July 1st to Oct 1st). Travel through 3 different ecosystems while climbing over 12,000 feet in elevation.
