One of the many names Barbados came to be known by was "Little England". What could be more British than a garden and a great house? Visit Anthony Hunte's masterpiece garden; this garden in a sink hole that has been transformed into one of the most beautiful spots on the island. A visit to Barbados will not be complete without a stop in Bathsheba, famous for its breathtaking beauty and pounding surf. Following Bathsheba there we will make our way to Morgan Lewis Windmill. The windmill is on the top 100 endangered historical sites in the world. Then we will continue up the hill to Cherry Tree Hill for a short photo op. stop before moving on to St. Nicholas Abbey. This Plantation House is likely the last remaining authentic house of the 17th Century that exists in the "New World". The Plantation produces award winning rum and they are always delighted to offer you a sample. From November 2022 this tour will include Lunch and be 1.5 hours longer with an option to add the Heritage Railway


Historical and Beach Tour of Tortola BVI


Explore Tortola historic sites by traveling up Great Mountain Rd to a 460 foot mural on Fahie Hill where you will see a series of colorful murals done by different local artists. Each mural is a vignette of an old way of island life, from “banking” (terracing) crops on the island’s steep hills to cutting sugarcane to telling ghost stories by lantern light. We will pull over to give the murals a good look. Move on to J.R. O'Neal Botanic Gardens and the Rum Distillery one of the last of its kind in the British Virgin Islands. Continue on to the most famous Cane Gardens Bay Beach for 1 hour. Last is the Crafts Alive Village where you can shop for Tortolian clothes and souvenirs of your choice.

This tour takes you to St. Nicholas Abbey Great House and Distillery where you learn about Barbados' rich past as well as the history of it's rum production. You will also see an integral part of the rum making process at Morgan Lewis Windmill. You will also experience the rugged beauty of Barbados as you are driven along the East Coast of the island. The last stop is the Flower Forest Botanical Garden where you'll be amazed by 53 acres of tropical trees and flowering plants that bloom all year.
