The cable car has become one of the main attractions of Quito since it opened its doors in 2005. The cable car is an excellent option to have a panoramic view of the Pichincha Volcano and the landscape of Quito. It starts at 2,950 meters above sea level and reaches 4,050 meters above sea level: the crest of Cruz Loma, next to the Pichincha volcano. It has 18 cars, which will go up the mountain range for 10 minutes. At 4050 meters, you will be greeted by a large scenic landscape. The páramo of the Pichincha volcano, at the top of Cruz Loma, offers a spectacular view of the entire city of Quito. If the climate favors you can see some major elevations of the Andes mountain range such as the Cayambe, the Antisana, the Cotopaxi, the Pasochoa, the Rumiñahui. The archeological site of Caral is among Peru's most impressive ruins. The UNESCO World Heritage listed site covers an area of around 60 hectares in the arid Supe Valley and was first inhabited between 2600 BCE and 2000 BCE. Although initially discovered back in 1948, recent excavations of Caral revealed an elaborate complex of temples, sunken plazas and some of the largest terraced pyramids in the world, leading archeologists to ponder the chance Caral being the fabled Mother City of ancient civilizations. Now open to the public, the site has garnered acclaim for its beautifully preserved ruins and intriguing collection of artefacts, which include a quipu (a unique knot system) and a number of musical instruments fashioned from animal bones, but definitely, no trace of warfare or weaponry.

We will pick you up early in the morning at 6:00 at your accommodation, then we are going to drive north and get out of the city. First, what we are going to see (in winter time) is how life can grow almost anywhere, and in the middle of the desert and sandunes. Here in Lima we have a biosphere called Lomas that are green areas in the middle of the desert "Lomas de Lachay" is about 2.5 hours away from Lima and over there we are going to have a 2.5 hours hiking (average) over there we can see owl, hacks, foxes, wild doves, falcons, and a lot of endemic animals that only lives in that biosphere.

After picking you up at your hotel, we will go to Xochimilco where we will board a Trajinera in the Xochimilco Canals through small floating islands made more than 500 years ago. Later we will move to the old neighborhood of San Ángel and near there you will see the attached houses of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo (Museo Casa Estudio). Then we go to Coyoacán where we will visit the church of San Juan Bautista. We will walk through its main streets, we will get to know the Frida Kahlo neighborhood, after spending some time in these beautiful places we will go to the Historical Center where the guide will explain some important places such as the Plaza de la Constitución, the Metropolitan Cathedral and several historical buildings of this ceremonial center of ancient Tenochtitlán, which continues to be the heart of the most important city in the country.
