It is situated 40 kilometers south of San Ignacio Town, Cayo and rests on the Vaca Plateau at an elevation of 500 meters above sea-level. It is now known that Caracol was one of the most important regional political centers of the Maya Lowlands during the Classic Period. While hiking through this magnificent site, wildlife sightings of monkeys and birds add to the experience. Also included is a visit to the Rio Frio cave and Rio On Pools.

Get off the beaten path and let us take you to the best afternoon of your life. Once there you can just relaxi in it’s transparent waters or snorkel with the complimentary equipment we provide and explore it's surroundings and then witness the sunset from the Cay. After sunset you will sail to the bioluminescent bay where your guide will lead you to safely swim or float using one our floaties in it's glowing waters and become one with nature in a way you can only do there. Before leaving we will make a stop at a local hotel for you to change into your dry clothes and then drive back to your departure spot.

This combination tour includes a visit to The Barton Creek Cave and Big Rock Waterfall located in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Barton Creek Cave was once an ancient Maya burial site. It is only accessible by canoe and requires minimal physical activity as you glide along gently. The drive to the cave is very scenic, passing through a few Maya Villages along the way.  This tour is slow paced, educational, and fun for all ages. After the Cave tour is complete we drive to Big Rock Falls located approximately forty-five minutes away; a great swimming spot. This combo tour is a full day tour that leaves from San Ignacio at 8:30am and returns at 4:00pm. Lunch is included.
