On a Chobe River Game Cruise you will cruise upstream into the Chobe National Park. This is an excellent opportunity to see large herds of elephants drinking and playing in the river. From the river you will be able to see giraffe, kudu, impala, zebra and maby other antelope. You will also see large herds of buffalo making their way down to the waters edge to quench their thirst. Wallowing Hippo are a regular feature on a Chobe River Game Cruise and crocodile are often spotted on the waters edge. A Game Cruise is a fantastic opportunity for birdwatchers to view the many bird species that live in the park.

The hotel pick ups commerce around 07:00am, guest are transported by road from Livingstone for about 1hr drive to Kazungula one border stop where you shall do your passport formalities for both Zambian and Botswana side just after crossing the newly constructed Kazungula bridge. The guide on Botswana side will be waiting for you, once we met the guide, you drive through to our Botswana office where you shall have a short briefing about the activity. After briefing the guides will decide either to start with a game drive, lunch then river safari cruise or the other way round. The Game Drive into Chobe National Park will start at 6:30am. Your driver will be a professional guide with extensive knowledge on the park and its inhabitants. The park is especially known for its massive elephant population, huge array of bird species and big cats such as lion and leopard. You will discover some of the parks distinct ecosystems with dense woodland, extensive savannahs and rolling grasslands while travelling along the Caprivi flood plains. As this is a private game drive you can ask your guide to tailor your trip towards specific birdlife or wildlife if you like. After the game drive lunch will be served at a hotel on the riverbank before getting on a boat for the Chobe River Cruise.
