Learn about candy, chocolate, our business, and the features of the one-hundred-year-old candy mansion. Participants will view the different rooms throughout our building and our production facility. After the whimsical tour experience, enjoy a decadent chocolate bar made your way! Choose from over sixteen toppings, and our candy makers will create a bar exactly the way you want.

You will get to know the possibilities and have a chance to make a custom unique Chocolate product and if you choose, design a label or Box to package it in. Your guide will walk you through the origins and process of making artisan chocolate from bean to bar at a local factory in Barbados.

Join us from Bean to Bar! We invite you to get the inside story of how chocolate is made from Founder and CEO, Dr. Gunars Valkirs. Walk through the chocolate factory as he explains the steps of production! Along the way, you will taste samples from different steps of the chocolate manufacturing process that are not otherwise available to the public. Then taste the finished chocolate, 3 squares of our Maui Grown chocolate and 4 more of your own choosing! For an additional charge, enjoy alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage pairings with your tasting. You will also receive a $25 gift card to purchase chocolate in the factory store or on our website. For those 21 years of age and older, alcoholic beverages are available in the upstairs pavilion for pairing with the chocolate tasting selections for an additional charge. A valid photo ID will be required for any alcoholic beverage service.

Visit the famous Roatan Chocolate Factory and learn to make chocolate from scratch! This is a unique tour in the island! You will learn about the process of chocolate making and will create your own chocolate bar that you will take home! This activity is an authentic Honduran experience, it’s family friendly and perfect for couples, solo travelers and anyone who loves chocolate. Note: Classes are scheduled based on availability and your needs, usually starting at 2:00pm. We do the classes based on reservations. If you're visiting Roatan on a cruise, we have to make sure that we can schedule the class and bring you back to the ship on time. For cruisers, we’ll try to arrive at the factory as early as possible. Therefore, we ask for you to disembark as soon as your ship arrives. If we can’t host it in the am, we can also pick you up before class start time and go sightseeing and/or do another activity or tour! Just let us know if you’re interested in doing this and we can set it up.

In the "Val di Nievole", Tuscany, in the center of the chocolate valley there is a laboratory that produces according to the "Bean-to-Bar" method, that is, processing everything, from the cocoa bean to the chocolate bar, in the usual place. This way of working chocolate has now become synonymous with high quality artisan chocolate. Tuscani Cioccolato is a direct importer of cocoa from Nicaragua, specifically from two regions of Nicaragua "La Dalia" and "Matiguas". Throughout the chocolate transformation process, from roasting to tempering, we make sure to extract the maximum aromas from our Nicaraguan cocoa to obtain the most complex taste and enhance the qualities of our two types of single-origin Trinitarian cocoa.
