We will show you how to make Café-Chorreado, the real Costarican practice of preparing coffee. Finally, we will look at one of the most important aspects of Costarican culture and tradition, the trapiche: A sugar cane-mill. Here we grind sugar cane to extract the juice and make all types of local and delicious candy. This is for sure the sweetest tour in the area. This activity will lead to our Sloth Park to start, we will walk trough the rainforest 1.5 to 2 hours inside the trails and you can get to see two and three toes sloths and some poisonous froags and snakes even birds. Done with the hike we will visit the second section of the the park to get your amazing chocolate coffee and sugar tasting along all the information provided in by our tour guides. Very instructive and educative tour!!

Meet us at Monina Restaurant to start your adventure in Cozumel. We will start by exploring a local chocolate factory. Then, the history of the Mayan Cacao. We will greet and go for Chocolate tasting. You will be greeted with coffee or water. Tasting & history includes 23 flavors of Chocolate. Next, Mayan show. You will get to see a traditional Mayan dance and ritual before the Tequila! Everyone loves the history of the making and taste of the flavors. Also, enjoy the tasting of homemade honey, salsas, & Mayan chocolates. Last, we will soak up the tequila with a local lunch.

I am originally from the Zoque ethnic group of the Isthmus Region, belonging to the state of Oaxaca, I come from a chocolate family by tradition, where I will be able to share my experience and knowledge that I have acquired over the years, giving rise to cocoa, you will be able to taste how cocoa It transforms its flavor according to its elaboration.

This Experience will start with a short 30-minute walk, where we will introduce you to the Central Pacific transitional forest, during the walk, we can observe the amazing flora and fauna, once the walk is over it’s time to start with the Chocolate Experience, Vista Los Suenos Adventure Park has the first International Cocoa collection of the Central Pacific, during this experience you will learn about the different varieties of Cocoa, as well as the ancestral history and the impact on the world economy and the most important part is that you will be able to try the actual Cocoa fruit before the process, also be part of the Cocoa production process, as well as try different types of Chocolate and mix it with tropical fruits. As an additional plus on this experience, you will learn about 2 of the most traditional agricultural products of Costa Rica “Sugar cane” and “Coffee” you will have direct contact with the plants and the natural history of these crops.
