While giving you a general history of Ghana and the Central Region which are mainly made of "Fantses", our expert tour guide will guide you through Cape Coast Castle, and Assin Manso Slave River Park, and other local tours in the Central Region. Our First stop is Assin Manso Slave Ancestral River where the enslaved Ancestors had their last bath before moving them to Cape Coast and Elmina castles for final shipment. After Assin Manso, we move to Cape Coast Castle for the main history about the slave trade during Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Erra and see the DOOR OF NO RETURN. After the castle, we get to enjoy the hike to Kakum National Park as we go onto Canopy Walk in the park. Get ready for an exciting but physically demanding (15-20 minute) hike in a dense Rain Forest. We will climb a hill so wear sporty shoes, sneakers and face towel for the forest hike. NB: decide to skip Kakum National Park for Elmina Castle. Enjoy your trip!

Our 2-day tour starts at 09:00 from Edinburgh. Passing the iconic Forth Bridges, we head to Dundee, known for its V&A Museum. We continue north to Montrose for lunch, famous for seafood. Next, St Cyrus and Dunnottar Castle await, offering rugged coastline views and rich history. In Stonehaven, explore the town before heading to Aberdeen for overnight stay. Day 2 begins with a visit to Crathes Castle west of Aberdeen, renowned for its gardens and history. Lunch in Ballater precedes our tour of Balmoral Castle, the Highland retreat of the British Monarchy. Heading south, we stop at Devil’s Elbow for Highland vistas and wildlife spotting.
