For this full day tour, we will visit three incredible places that are completely unique to this area. As well as learning more about Costa Rican coffee, we will visit Poás Volcano, one of only seven active volcanoes in the country. We will then see over 100 species including rescued sloths and hummingbirds in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is my favourite trip in the San Jose area, providing you with a great combination of picturesque scenery and the chance to get up close to many species found in Costa Rica.

Using the tuk tuk, we pick you up from your hotel in Moshi up to Materuni village, the last village, before entering the national parks surrounding Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Visiting a coffee plantation, you'll learn everything there is to know about how Arabica coffee is cultivated, harvested, and processed. Together, we will pound the coffee beans to remove them from their shells, roast them, grind them, and finally enjoy a cup of homemade coffee!
After this, we will take a 45-minute hike to Materuni Waterfall. Note that the terrain can be quite muddy, so wear appropriate shoes. Enjoy the beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro's largest waterfall (90m tall) and have the option to take a refreshing swim. After we will return Materuni village and for a locally prepared Chagga lunch.

Starting from the bays of Huatulco and heading to the town of Llano Grande, a community located in the mountains with approximately 90 inhabitants, a place where crystal clear pools of shallow water and a beautiful waterfall are hidden.
In the 2-hour journey we will get to know the flora and fauna which changes as we go up towards the mountains, as we travel along the paths we will appreciate the colors and sounds of the jungle that will make us feel calm and come into contact with nature.
Likewise, we will enjoy a clay mask, which helps to improve the appearance of the skin, applied by local people. Once we finish enjoying the water, we head back to the farm to
have a traditional Oaxacan meal.

Later we will go to one of the most visited places in Costa Rica (La Paz Waterfall Gardens) . The waterfall is located immediately alongside the road from Alajuela that leads to the northern plains of Costa Rica. The River La Paz forms the waterfall after traversing 8 kilometres (5 mi) of volcanic terrain, and then continues through the rainforest of the eastern side of Poás Volcano. A short path leads behind the waterfall, where a small shrine had been located. Upstream from the waterfall is La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a park, where visitors can observe many different species of local wildlife.

Coffee Plantation Tour From Bogota
We start the coffee tour from Bogota to go straight to Fusagasuga, a municipality one (1) hour away from the capital, with an average temperature of 20 degrees. You will discover a nice real LOCAL hacienda / finca of coffee, learning the all coffee production steps welcome by the Colombian coffee producers.
The tour will start in the “hacienda” (coffee plantation). Rounded by a beautiful garden where you can appreciate the real native plants from our tropical weather.
Afterwards, you will be introduced to the culture of coffee: its different types of crops, its different colors and sizes of beans. You will also could learn how to pick up the coffee and identify the best coffee beans. Then we will pexlain you natural enemies of the coffee (parasites) and the mutations of coffee plants

Our Plantation tour gives insight about Coffee cultivation and traces the process of the coffee bean from, plantation to cup. The tour starts with short walk through the plantation. Along this trail, visitors learn about the growth of coffee plants, from seedlings in nurseries to the time they are planted and picked in the plantations. The tour ends with visit to the host’s house and learns about various blends and tasting the flavors of Coffee, Coorg has to offer.
