This is a hike filled with tunnels that go from pastured fields with cows to forests with valleys and lush vegetation! In the end of this hike, we will visit one of the main lagoons of the island – Lagoa do Fogo – which is one of the seven wonders of Portugal. This hike takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes to finish and it is around 7.6 km (4.7miles) long with an easy/medium difficulty level.

On this excursion you will be able to enjoy the second largest lagoon on the island of São Miguel, the Lagoa do Fogo, visit the Liqueur Factory "Mulher de Capote", as well as the opportunity to see some of the island's landscapes during the stop at the Belvedere da Serra da Barrosa!

The Lagoa dos Tambaquis is a clear water lagoon and counts as fish of the species '' Tambaquis '' (which measure on average 50 centimeters) that leave and experiences brighter when they join the bath in the Lagoon with the visitors! Very recommended experience for children, the elderly and adults will also love it! Great place to have fun, and contemplate nature (and take that beautiful photo, of course!) Located on the south coast of Sergipe, almost in Bahia, Praia do Saco is one of the most famous in the state. With a blue sea and very fine sand, the landscapes are beautiful! A buggy ride reveals wonderful dunes, with panoramic views of the beach. There is also an artificial lagoon that can only be visited by buggy.

Incredible hike that goes to the inside of Lagoa do Fogo volcano, where you're going to find the beautiful lagoon at its feet. This is a hike with interesting challenges up and down, amazing vegetation, and following through most of the hike you will see a "levada" (water channel) that brings water to the farmlands. This hike takes about 4 hours to finish and it is 13 km (8 miles) long, being a medium to hard difficulty trail.

The trail starts at Levada do Alecrim, in the area of Rabaçal. Follow the course of the levada until you get to a detour to the path that will take you to Lagoa do Vento. Turn left on the path and start to descend. From here the path radically changes and you start walking in the heart of nature. The floor is sometimes irregular and can be slippery, so caution is advised. Immerse yourself in the natural surroundings and enjoy a completely different and unique walk! Enjoy the panoramic views from the several viewpoints than you find along the trail. Continue down until you reach the magnificent lagoon Lagoa do Vento. The tour begins in Ponta Delgada towards Sete Cidades. It includes a few stops at different viewpoints and the chance of visiting the most beautiful and unknown areas of the west and central parts of our island. After a stop at Vista do Rei viewpoint, we will descent the road that leads us into the interior of this valley to visit Sete Cidades parish. After admiring the Church of St. Nicholas, we will continue on our way towards Lagoa, through the South Coast of the Island, to have lunch at a local restaurant. Then, the tour continues towards Lagoa do Fogo, with stop at Caldeira Velha with some time for a visit. Before returning to Ponta Delgada, we will make a short stop to admire Lagoa do Fogo, from the top of Pico da Barrosa.
