Escape the heat of the city and the busy Barcelona beaches to join a refreshing fun-filled marine biology excursion. Travel along the Costa Brava in the beautiful northern region of Catalonia for an exciting day of Kayaking and Snorkeling in the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea. Our Kayaking and Cave snorkeling tour is a 6 hour return day trip (approx 1 hour's drive per direction to/ from kayaking site). The trip includes transport to and from the Costa Brava where you will be fitted out with the kayak and snorkeling equipment, a picnic lunch and water on return to shore, allowing you some free time to chill out on the beautiful white sandy beach before heading back into the heart of Barcelona!

The goal of this day trip is to take you away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona and, to let you enjoy the Mediterranean breeze. This experience has been designed for the outdoors, art, and nature lovers. As soon as we leave Barcelona we immerse ourselves in the Catalan countryside. The first stop is Girona (Game of Thrones?). A perfect mix of history, architecture, and…food! We will take a nice stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town and the Roman Walls. Right after we will move into the Catalan Countryside, we deserve to be surrounded by nature. The second stop is Peratallada, probably the most charming and less-known medieval village in the Empordà region. A nice stroll around and a few pictures later we will take you for lunch at Calella de Palafrugell, an old fishing village formed by several coves that still preserve the charm of the villages of the area, with narrow streets and some traditional two-floor fishermen’s dwellings. Enjoy a 45-minute guided tour through its medieval streets, visiting the Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter, followed by 45 minutes of free time to explore, take photos, or shop. Embark on a huge and authentic sailing catamaran. We will sail north enjoying the natural landscapes of the Costa Brava: its beaches, coves, cliffs and caves. After about an hour of navigation, we will anchor in a bay near the rocks to dive, bathing inlet with mats and trampoline, sunbathing on the large solarium net, listen to music, … While the crew will prepare the outdoor barbecue buffet with drinks included all the way. After about two hours anchored we will sail with music to the starting point. FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN ONLY IN MORNING DEPARTURES. BACHELOR GROUPS NOT ALLOWED.

Enjoy a trip to the most beautiful village on the Costa Brava, walk a round road for 3km and sail with a small boat that enters three caves. You will see the sea from many different places! We will leave Barcelona by van for only 7 participants at 7am to reach a beach at 8:30am. From there, we will make a round road with 150 meters of accumulated gradient. At 10 am we will arrive in Tossa de Mar and visit the old part. At 11 am we will sail on a small glass-bottomed boat. The boat will enter three caves and reach Cala Giverola. There you can get off the boat and enjoy that beach as long as you want and return to Tossa whenever you want with another boat. The journey to Giverola takes 40 minutes, the way back to Tossa takes 20 minutes. Once you get on the boat, you'll have free time!
