Traditional British scones are one of London’s most beloved treats—a classic baked good served with clotted cream and jam. In this fun, hands-on workshop, you won’t just get to enjoy this quintessential British snack—you’ll get to bake them yourself! While you work, you’ll sip on traditional English tea, learning about the customs of tea drinking as you go. Discover how to make perfect scones from scratch, master the techniques, and savor your homemade creations the traditional way with Clotted Cream, Jam, and tea. Enjoy the very best afternoon tea that Edinburgh has to offer. Indulge in a selection of sandwiches, cakes, savouries and warm home baked scones with Traditional preserves and fresh whipped cream. The Tour explores all the main attractions in Edinburgh, including the historic Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Old Town to name a few. Duration of tour is between 70 – 90 minutes. We are licensed so additional drinks can be purchased from our onboard bar. This tour is not suitable for children 5 and under and they can not be permitted on board the bus.

Magnificent green view, classic feel  of a farm day at Kiambethu tea plantation provides a tranquil insight into life on a settler farm. Learn how Tea is grown, picked and processed. Have a 3-course lunch with fresh ingredients, and of course, a cup of tea and walk through the tea gardens. Situated at 7,200 ft., Kiambethu was bought and farmed by AB McDonell in 1910. He was the first person to grow, make and sell tea commercially in Kenya – now one of Kenya’s biggest exports. Five generations have lived on the farm and it is currently run by his granddaughter Fiona Vernon. The farm house is set within beautiful gardens surrounded by acres of tea and indigenous forest – home to the Colobus monkey and plenty of other wildlife.
