What better way to spend your time while on Holiday. This trip takes you all along the 'Swakop River' to two iconic destinations which is hidden in the desolate Namib Desert. This is a self drive activity, meaning you would need to handle your own transportation to and from our location. Dinner reservations start at 8:00pm for this activity, and included in your booking is a 3-course meal at Latitude 65. Alcohol is not included, but is available for purchase, as are additional add ons and appetizers.  After dinner, you can relax in our lounge space and utilize our free wi-fi while you wait for the Aurora Borealis to make an appearance. At 10pm our staff hold a nightly presentation discussing the science and folklore behind the northern lights, which is a free presentation.  When the aurora makes an appearance, our staff will inform you where to look! We also offer additional photography sessions at $60 per person.  The yurt closes at 2:00am, which is when you would need to depart the property. 

Bikes, Glacier Views, and Microbrews begins with a 20 minute van ride out of historic downtown Juneau out to the Mendenhall Valley, where you'll be outfitted with bikes, helmets, and rain gear if necessary. The ride starts at the eastern side of the Mendenhall Glacier, with a 4 mile ride over to the western shore of Mendenhall Lake. Here, you'll enjoy a brief break and scenic view of the lake. Next, you'll hop back on the bikes and ride 4 miles back to the eastern side of the glacier, riding through two beautiful trails in the Tongass National Forest. After the ride, your guide will walk you to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, where you will have 45 minutes of independent exploration. View the glacier, enjoy the trails, and learn about the history of the area. Upon returning to the van, you will take a short drive to Forbidden Peak Brewery and taste a custom flight of local beers and enjoy views of Auke Bay. Your guide will then drive you back downtown at the end of the tour.

A half or full day bicycle ride is the ideal way to explore the main Amalfi Coast road from Amalfi to Positano and back. While basic cycling skills are required to handle possible traffic in some stretches, and a fair fitness level to face the numerous (but not steep or long) hills -unless you opt for the much easier e-bikes-, once you get going you easily realize how much better it is to be on a bike, rather than in a car or bus. You'll be able to fully enjoy the environment, stop at any corner at your will to enjoy the scenery and take pictures, and get some healthy exercise on top of all!
