Following this route from Invergordon or Inverness heading north we will visit areas very few visitors ever get to see.

This tour is on a Fairytale Castle theme as well as history and scenic attractions. It packs in a lot for one day's tour and is very affordable and good value for money. Entrance to Dunrobin castle is INCLUDED. On this tour there is sometimes the option to I course an extra stop such as going to Black Rock Gorge, Seaboard mermaid sculpture, Cadboll stone, Glenmorangie whisky shop/distillery photos, or salmon jumping in August at Shin Falls. The guide will discuss with you on the day if time allows for this. Our tours are specially put together after taking feedback from YOU. We will pass through some amazing scenery today. Taking a high road through some moorland and having a brief photo stop at the Millionaires View. Dunrobin Castle should be a short drive away after this. The castle was built and dates back to 1275 by Robert, Earl of Sutherland, The impressive house contains 189 rooms, with a rich collection of fine furniture, paintings, tapestries and objects d'art. The castle is magnificently set in a great park and you are free to walk in these beautiful gardens which overlook the sea. There should also be a falconry display within the grounds. Your journey after this will pass over the Dornoch bridge and shortly after we'll reach the Royal Burgh of Tain where Glenmorangie Distillery is situated.
