The tour starts at 7:30 am with the pick-up in El Calafate and a 220 km trip to El Chaltén. Along the way, you stop at Estancia La Leona and, where you can have coffee and eat (not included) When you arrive at El Chaltén, you will have 5 hours to tour the village and make two easy guided walks: one to the Mirador de los Condores, overlooking the Fitz Roy and Torre hills, and another to the Chorrillo del Salto waterfall, just 300 meters away. The tour, with gentle and guided walks, includes lunch in a local restaurant (only with option that includes food) and ends with the return to El Calafate, arriving between 18:30 and 19:00 hs.

We will ride the horses for approximately 2 hours through the most remote corners of the ranch, enjoying the nature that surrounds us, we will cross forests of ñires and lengas, streams and the mountain ranges of the place, from where we will be able to observe the best panoramic views. Two daily shifts, morning and afternoon, with the option of lunch or dinner. Hours are adjusted according to the time of year.

Rafting is an activity that mixes adventure, emotion and adrenaline. The Rio de las Vueltas offers an ideal setting for this activity. During the Full Day tour to El Chaltén you will discover the town of El Chalten. This tour departs from El Calafate and it is perfect for travelers willing to discover El Chaltén and its nature without hiking long distances. A guided tour, in which you will visit Chorrillo del Salto and Mirador de los Condores, hiking less than 1,5 miles (2 km). Afterwards you will have time to have lunch in one of the restaurants in town or will join the group for lunch, depending on the option selected when booking.

The excursion begins early in the morning from El Calafate. We take the mythic Route 40, that goes along the Argentino Lake up to La Leona river. We will pass by the canyon with the same name “Cañadón La Leona” and after 1.15 h ride we will make a short stop at an ancient route hotel "La Leona", almost a museum of the Route 40. Our trip continues along the Lake Viedma, from where we will have magical views of glaciers, hidden lakes and the overpowering presence of the Mount Fitz Roy. After arriving at Chalten we continue our ride to Lago del Desierto taking the route that borders the Río de las Vueltas taking us deeper into the Lengas and Nires forest. The road ends after one hour ride and 37 kms up to the North arriving at Lago del Desierto. From the pier Punta Sur we'll take a 20 minute boat ride to the natural reserve Vespignani from where 3 self-guided paths take us to the best miradors of Vespignani Glacier and the north face of Mount Fitz Roy.
