When entering El Yunque, we will take a scenic drive through the National Park. Climbing in elevation, enjoy views of the peak above and ocean below! En route to a private access point on Rio Pitahaya, we will pass Rio Mameyes, Puente Roto, and the Angelito Trail Head.
Upon arrival at Las Paylas you will be introduced to a natural playground with something for everyone! With a hidden waterfall, cave, 2 waterslides, and natural pool, there is no more refreshing or exhilarating way to enjoy an afternoon! If adventure is not your style, worry not! No guest has to partake in any activity they are not comfortable with.
After El Yunque, wind down at Luquillo Beach and Los Kioskos. Soak in the culture and essence of Puerto Rico with amazing food, drinks, and music on the ocean!
El Yunque Rainforest and Waterfall Guided Tour
Upon arriving in Ceiba, we will commence with a 25-30 minute hike, which includes a brief river trek. Once we enter the outskirts of the forest, you will climb through rocks and trees to reach the pristine natural pools and waterfalls. Here, you can also swing from a rope or cliff jump. We will spend some time here before proceeding to the next stop, an advanced hike to higher natural pools that lead to exciting natural waterslides. We then return through the same path, with the option to swim part of the way.
Throughout this excursion, your certified guide will share important information about the only tropical rainforest in the US Forest System, as well as intriguing facts about Puerto Rico's culture and history, while ensuring you have a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience.
After the tour concludes, we will stop at a local restaurant for a late lunch (food cost not included) before returning to San Juan or your initial meeting point.

Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel or location, at the previously accorded pickup time (contact us for confirmation). From there, we will head east through the coastal road boarding the beautiful beaches in the town of Loíza. Exposition regarding our Puerto Rican heritage, and live commentary and interpretation of your surroundings can be given in both English and Spanish throughout the journey. After this time, we head back to your lodgings.

El Yunque National Forest Guided Tour with Transport
On this tour, you'll be picked up at your place of stay and driven to El Yunque National Forest, which is about an hour from San Juan. You’ll experience El Yunque National Forest through the eyes of our passionate guides. You’ll be guided and listen to live documentaries about the cultural significance of this place to our Puerto Rican ancestors. This tour will give you a lot of knowledge about the importance of the tree species, wildlife, and mountain land to the people of Puerto Rico. The tour lasts about 5 hours from pick-up to drop-off, including driving time, three different stops within the forest, and a stop at a local place for souvenir shopping and lunch before making our way back to San Juan.

This tour includes a 30 to 45-minute walk on a trail. We are one of the few operators that have the permits to enter the El Yunque National Rainforest. Enjoy this amazing tour in the east side of El Yunque National Forest. Learn about the history of the El Yunque & Puerto Rico, as well as its flora and fauna.
You will have a blast with us on natural water slides, jumping from different cliffs and flying on the rope swing while we capture your memorable experiences with pictures and video at the waterfall.
The trail walk takes about 20 to 25 minutes, and then it's about another 5 minutes to reach the 2 natural water slides and waterfalls.
In some parts, you may need to climb rocks but it is easy for those without knee, ankle, and/or back conditions.

This tour includes the El Yunque National Forest Park Pass into the 191 corridor, past the Forest Service’s Check Point in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
See the 85 foot La Coca Falls, climb the 70 foot tall Yokahu Tower – at 1, 500 feet in elevation, walk at a natural trail with its mountain palms and tree ferns. Finish with the opportunity of submerging yourself with a river swim.

After being picked up from our locations, we will take you to the main recreational areas of El Yunque National Forest driving up to nearly 1,600 feet to enjoy the majestic views of the east coast from the Yokahu Observation Tower. Next, stop at the La Coca Waterfall for pictures. Then, cool off with a swim in one of the natural pools on Mameyes River (subject to weather conditions) after a short natural walk of 15 minutes.
