At our UNAWATUNA DIVING CENTRE we have around 16 different Dive Sites with different depth from 6 to 30 m we offer Reef Dives, Rock Dives, Wreck Dives and Night Dives. Hard and soft corals are at the most reef dive sites up to 18 m unfortunately rare. At the reefs you can find a lot of macro staff, many different nudibranchs, different coral fish of the Indian Ocean, Sting Rays on the sandy bottom and at the Unawatuna Dive Site No. 8,"Napoleon Reef" you see mostly also the Napoleon Wrasse. At the deeper Unawatuna Dive Sites, there are mostly rocky areas with deep valleys to explore. Close to the Galle harbor dive sites there are our wreck dive sites on a sandy ground with the famous "Rangoon" Wreck on a depth of 30 m, the SS Oreste on a depth of 22 m and the Galle Ship Wreck with a depth of 18 m. The most soft corals and fish live at the two deeper wrecks. Mostly there are hundreds and thousand of Sweet Lips and different other fish.

Off the coast where we are – far away from the crowds – there are beautiful and healthy reefs with a lot of varied corals and other marine life. Reefs with names like Sponge, Tire, Anchor, Bali, Barcadera, Harbor, Fingers, Mark, Isla di Oro, Mangel Halto, Hole in the Wall and many others. In addition, the beautiful dive spots such as Jane C wreck and the Airplanes. We are happy to take you for our morning trip to guide you to one of these beautiful dive sites. For safety reasons, we primarily look at the weather and sea conditions. In addition, to the certificate levels and requests, before we choose which dive spots to go to. On this private tour, we’ll take you on the most affordable journey to hike to the crater of Santa Ana Volcano, also known as Ilamatepec Volcano. We’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you directly to the starting point of the hike. You’ll hike to the summit with a local guide. The entire hike takes about 3.5 hours, including 30 minutes at the summit to enjoy the breathtaking views of the crater and the surrounding natural beauty. After the hike, we’ll take you straight back to your hotel. (If you want to visit an additional place we can personalize your tour). At the trailhead, you'll get some basic instructions and be grouped with 7 to 15 people, led by a certified guide from the national park.
