In Sighnaghi, you can admire the views of the Alazani Valley, the Caucasus Mountains, and the Sighnaghi Wall. It is a defensive fortification dating back to the 18th century. At JSC "Corporation Kindzmarauli," and a family-owned winery, you'll learn about the ancient wine-making methods in Georgia. This tour is a must-do for anyone who loves wine, nature, and culture.

Our wine cellar is 200 years old and one of the oldest wine cellars in Tbilisi. Our family makes wine since the 14th century. Our wines are exclusive and only sold in our cellar. Our staff are professional and speak in 3 languages – English , Russian, Georgian. Not only do they explain the history of our wine cellar, but also the techniques of Georgian winemaking and the History of Georgia as a whole.

For a wine testing we will head to our Family Winery – Nikoladze WineHouse , located 30 minutes drive from Kutaisi. We will test 3 white, 1 red wine, 2 kind of Chacha (local vodka): one refined, and another pure as distilled from grapes. We will introduce winemaking technology, process of wine fermentation and different tools used in producing the Saint drink of Georgians. As a snack, could be offered different kind of cheese with a Georgian bread or homemade khachapuri. "Everything started by our grandfather making wine in open winery under the shadow of huge walnut tree. From the very childhood I used to learn primitive tools for cleaning qvevry , grape pressing and wine fermentation. Reaching my forties, I realized that it's time to return to the point, where everything have started . And I install my first Qvevri." Giorgi Nikoladze

Nana's Kitchen – traditional Georgian cooking class at real Georgian family home


Try your hand in a Georgian, real home kitchen. Set in a traditional Georgian home, in the heart of the city, learn how to make an authentic 5-course dinner with the help of Georgian mothers, grandmothers, and traditional homemakers. Craft Georgian classics such as Chakapuli, or eggplants with walnuts. Numbers are limited to 5 in this small-group workshop in order to keep your experience intimate. Receive a recipe booklet to recreate your dishes back at home to impress your friends. The class will teach you not only how to make hallmarks of the Georgian cuisine, but also allow you to understand the essence Supra, the Indispensable Georgian tradition of dining and celebration. Upon your return home, you will be able to recreate the “Georgian party” to impress your friends. You will be making dishes on your own based on the guidance and showcase from our instructors.
