The tour goes to Urquhart castle AND Glen Ord distillery – home of the Singleton malt whisky. Our tours are specially put together after taking feedback from YOU. We have surveyed your desires and requests and put them together in our tours. Our guides will impart their knowledge of their local Highlands and answer any of your questions. As a general rule tours leave 30 minutes to 1.5 hours after the arrival of the ship and return at least 45 minutes to 1 hour before ship departure time. Please check our website which has the exact tour departure and return times for every tour. Tours offered based on Outlander and Castle themes as well as historic value. This tour includes a visit to a whisky distillery. Usual Glen Ord but on occasions it might be swapped to Balblair. It packs in a lot for one day and is very affordable and good value for money. Please note in order to enter the distillery tour you must be 18 or over. Any children may wait in the shop area.

Balmoral Castle & Royal Lochnagar Distillery From Inverness ​ Before stopping at the castle we will stop at the crathie kirk church for 30 mins before going on to Balmoral Estate. ​ In 2025 the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, gift shop and cafe will be open to the Public on a daily basis from 1st April until 31st July. Opening times are from 10.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. however please note that the last recommended admission is at 4.30 p.m. We recommend that you set aside at least one and a half hours for your visit to Balmoral. This will give you time to visit the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, gift shop and the Pipers Hall Cafe. You will have access to the formal and vegetable gardens, the exhibitions in the stable area and largest room in the Castle, the Ballroom. Their is also a audio handset tour, which is available in English together with Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish translations. The audio tour is only available for admissions before 4.30 p.m.

This is a relaxing day out in a modern luxury van type vehicle with collection from Inverness/Aviemore areas including Airports and Rail Stations thereafter take a chilled drive down to the Speyside area and drive around the distilleries of your choice taking tastings of Whisky at your own pace. Lunch at your own discretion but can be factored in at choice of nice venues . Full Distillery tours may also be factored in subject to availability. I have tailor made a tour to Glencoe and fort William that no other company can do this is a private experience with us We will collect you from your hotel at 8.30am prompt Sit back and relax as we start the day by heading to Urquhart Castle and Invermorriston falls on route to fort Augustus From here we travel direct to Glencoe for the 3 waters meeting point and the view from the 3 sisters one of the most iconic views in the Highlands Next it's lunch at fort William before heading upto the viaduct to get the best spot on the hill side for photos and videos of the train From here we will head home via the back road to Loch Ness stopping one final time at dores beach for the views and maybe meet the Nessie hunter You should arrive back 5 to 6pm This tour does not offer any tickets for the Jacobite express you view this from the viaduct on the tour This tour offers a 30 day cancellation policy prior to the tour operating
