‘Adelaide Highlights with Wine Tasting and Coast’ is a full day tour featuring some of Adelaide's finest experiences. With several pick-up points around Adelaide CBD this small group day tour offers a wonderful balance of sightseeing and wine tasting and packs a punch as far as must do highlights when visiting Adelaide. City Tour, Mount Lofty Lookout, 2 hours to explore Township of Hahndorf, then off to McLaren Vale to enjoy wine tasting and more sightseeing. Wine tasting at the beautiful Chapel Hill wines and the stunning Haselgrove Wines, photo opportunities and a scenic drive along the coastline with a 15 min stop in seaside suburb of Glenelg. You can choose to stay in Glenelg and watch the sunset, and catch the tram back to Adelaide at your convenience, or jump back on board and head back to Adelaide for drop off.

Settle down for a German platter (at your own cost) and then walk the street and discover the delights of Australia’s oldest German settlement. Mount Lofty, the highest peak in the Adelaide Hills, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and city of Adelaide. It's a popular destination for hiking, picnicking, and enjoying nature, with lush gardens and scenic walking trails.

Join Adelaide’s only hop-on hop-off Hahndorf and Adelaide Hills winery tour service and depart from the Adelaide CBD or get picked up in the region. A comfortable bus collects from the Stamford Plaza Hotel (Adelaide CBD) at mid-morning, then takes you out to the beautiful hills region surrounding the historic township of Hahndorf, to follow a looping circuit featuring 8-10 of the best wineries and venues in the area. Each circuit takes approximately 1-hour to complete, giving you plenty of time to sample that venue's offering. Along the way you are free to hop-on or off at any of 4 selected stops on the timetable. Bus returns to the city in the late afternoon, disembarking at approximately 5:00pm.

This 4.5 hours ( including travel from /to Adelaide CBD base) tour is designed for small private groups up to 12 people maximum. Please note this tour can be customised to your needs, for example a winery or distillery visit instead of chocolate factory. For larger groups over 6 people we usually organise lunch in one of German pubs or in a restaurant of your choice.

Then travel though the townships of Adelaide Hills to Barossa stopping at places of interest along the way. A full day tour takes you to South Australia's premium wine region. Have lunch at Kies Family Wines or another venue if not available. After Lunch we will visit Maggie Beer Farm and Seppeltsfield Winery to explore the grounds and visit the Jam Factory and Vasse Virgin. Take a walk around these Magnificent Grounds. Return to your hotel between 5-5:30pm

This is a Narrated Tour and is subject to change as sometimes we have requests to maybe go a longer way thru the Adelaide Hills weather permitting. Sometimes we may skip Mt Lofty. If you can't see it from the city we will waste are time going there, which may give us more time to visit another area along the way or spend more time in Hahndorf itself.

Relax at Howard Vineyard with a Wine Flight (set tasting of red and white wines). Visit Beerenberg Strawberry Farm Shop where you will be able to taste their world-renowned jams, condiments and products'. The last stop is wine tasting at Sidewood Cellar Door at Hahndorf.

Bukatilla is the Peramangk name which the indigenous people gave to this area of the Adelaide Hills. You will hear abot these people on the tour. A good news story. On this tour you'll hear the stories of the Prussian people who joined in this area after their escape from their King in 1838. They were being persecuted by him for their insistence to continue their Old Lutheran faith. An amazing story of perserverence, courage and faith. Combining this tour with a Strudel making experince provides visitors with a great combination of cultural input, and a hands on food experience – the only one in the Adelaide Hills. You are taken to locations not available to the general public with numerous photographic opportunities.
