Hustai National Park is home to the Mongolian wild horse known as Perzevalski’s horse (Takhi) with a unique landscape that features mountain and steppe. In the afternoon, we visit the information center and learn familiar with the national park and wild horse. Take a short drive and walking to see the horses in their natural habitat. After you are picked up in the morning from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar, you will be driven to Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, a semi-desert type beautiful landscape with big sand dunes. Your lunch will be served at a suitable spot on the way. The mountain is home to hundreds of birds, deer and gazelle. You will be able to go hiking around the area with a camel for a couple of hours to the small sand dunes nearby called Elsen Tasarkhai. Later, you will visit a local nomad family where you will have an opportunity to experience their way of life, their culture and traditions. Afterward, you will be transferred back to Ulaanbaatar where this tour concludes.

You will start our trip by driving to Mongol Nomadic Tourist camp. There you will participate the Mongolian nomadic cultural program and get to know more about nomadic culture and lifestyle. The Hustai NP is famous for its successful reintroduction of the Przewalski Horse /Takhi/, the only remaining wild horse, since 1992. This unique horse was extinct in wild around late 1960s.
