This is a half day tasting tour designed for those with limited time on Kangaroo Island. Pick ups are available from the airport or hotel. Visit Clifford's Honey where you can taste the different varieties of honey, Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and learn about how the eucalyptus oil is distilled, Bay of Shoals Winery for a wine tasting and Kangaroo Island Spirits for a gin tasting. We also stop at Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning/afternoon tea, if time permits. A great way to explore local produce!

Lunch today is a picnic enjoyed on the cliff tops or in the bush and consists of poached chicken, local cheeses, fresh fruit, a salad prepared on the spot and a choice of fine Kangaroo Island wines. After lunch, get off the beaten path to explore some of the lesser known places seeking out more wildlife encounters. Depending on season, we visit "Grassdale" to experience some pioneer heritage or seek out kangaroos lazing in the field.

After lunch, we’ll take a short drive to the Bay of Shoals Wines overlooking the picturesque vineyards and sheltered bay. Kangaroo Island Spirits is the makers of the world’s best contemporary gin. Discover and decide for yourself with a tasting of their boutique gin and liqueurs. FULL DAY ITINERARY: The first stop on your journey will be Dudley Wine. Here you will find a selection of their quality wine and soak up the spectacular view across Backstairs Passage. A short drive up the road will take you to False Cape Wines. The rustic charm and idyllic setting among the gum trees and vineyard makes this cellar door a great place for a glass of wine and homemade pies and platters! We will then travel back to Cygnet River , "Capital of the Wine Industry" in Kangaroo Island. Here we will visit The Islander Estate at Cygnet River and taste the only 5-star James Halliday rated wines of the the island. We will visit the cellar door at Spring Roads Wines. Their vineyard was established in 1994 on a small sheep property about 7km west of Kingscote. We will then travel back to Kingscote and we will stop at Bay of Shoals Wines, overlooking the picturesque vineyards and sheltered bay. After an enjoyable day, we will take you back to your hotel, or to the Airport/Ferry

Kangaroo Island has plenty to offer everyone. Enjoy a full day out visiting a number of outlets on the island while taking in spectacular scenery along the way. Visit Clifford's Honey where you will learn about the Ligurian Bee, then stop next at the Eucalyptus Distillery to taste the local eucalyptus and enjoy some cider tastings. Head to Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning tea. Enjoy wine tasting at Bay of Shoal Wines while taking in the breathtaking views.
