Walking Tour Fogo Lake allows you to discover one of the best lakes in São Miguel Island. This tour starts at 9AM with pick up included at hotels in Ponta Delgada. Our next stop will be the lake surroundings, where the trail begins. It's included a picnic lunch and it's advised to bring comfortable clothes and shoes, swimsuit, towel, water and sun cream.

The tour is made comfortably in a jeep Land Rover properly equipped for the purpose and is perfect for those who want to have a off-road experience in São Miguel Island. This jeep will begin in Pico da Barrosa, where you can see both north and south part of the island. Then you´ll be able to enjoy Lagoa do Fogo viewpoint and Interpretation Center of Caldeira Velha. In the end of the hike, you will also have the opportunity to relax on the hotsprings that are naturally heated by Lagoa do Fogo volcano.
