The drive to Arecibo is About an hour and it is beautiful from start to finish. We arrive and begin our hike to the cave of the Taino. Bring good shoes as the hike is quite rocky. The entrance to the cave is not for claustrophobic people. it is bit challenging but with our careful instructions you will be able to get inside (barring any physical conditions that hinder you). The cave is other worldly. You get transported to the past as you see the over 100 carvings in the stone that are hundreds, maybe thousands, of years old. After we exit the cave we will hike through the famous 7 arches of Arecibo. The arches are natural rock formations which can be appreciated in pictures, but only in person will you realize how beautiful it all really is. Last we visit a non-touristy beach that is amazing!

A scenic drive along the North Coast road offers the most spectacular panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. At the Maracas Lookout you can take photos and enjoy a local snack like pineapple chutney, at your own expense. Continue along the beautiful coast passing busy Maracas Bay en route to the more sheltered, calmer Las Cuevas Bay. Enjoy the quiet waters of this 2.2 km (1.36mi) long beach that is excellent for swimming. If time allows you can stop at Maracas for a taste of the famous Bake and Fish sandwich. Paradise found.

Our certified biologists or interpreter guides will offer you a great educational adventure. At the established time our transporter will pick you up at the meeting point in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. About an hour will pass by and you will arrive at the area where our guides will receive you, provide you with the necessary protective equipment for cave exploration (helmet, lamps and life jackets) and explain the tour agenda and safety rules. You will walk for 15 minutes and arrive at Las Cuevas de Arenales where you will swim in a small canyon formed by the passage of water. We will continue our tour and you will be able to take an adrenaline-filled jump into the water to enter the underground world of the Charco Azul Caves. There you will see a waterfall and the formations created by minerals and water through the limestone rock where the caves are formed. We will return to the car to go to lunch and arrive at a paradisiacal beach where you can cool off. Return to the meeting point.

Come and experience one of our most impressive island tours, of 4 of the island's highlights: * Timanfaya National Park, * Mirador del Río, * Jameos del Agua and * Cueva de los Verdes. Created by the famous César Manrique. We will begin with a visit to Timanfaya, with its spectacular views of lava rocks and geothermal experiments. Then we will head north. We will finish the tour visiting the Jameos del Agua and the Cueva de los Verdes, with an incredible landscape. We will take the coastal road back to your accommodations.

The excursion begins in Dominicus, through the main road till you enter to a beautiful trail by the sea that takes us to the small town of Bayahibe. There we will see the beauty of the local nature and cosmopolitan style. Then we make a visit to the public beach enjoying a beautiful landscape until arriving at Cotubanama Park. There we will walk a beautiful path that takes us to a cave that was used by the Taíno Indians in pre-Columbian times. In the interior of the cave there is a spring of crystalline waters in which we can freshen up. Then we make a short walk along a path where we can appreciate several plants of our flora and a typical kiln to make coal. Only 12 miles from Progreso, the archaeological site of Dzibilchaltún is one of the most important ceremonial centers of the Mayan world followed by free time at the beach  You will start this fun-filled day when you meet your friendly, bilingual guide at the cruise ship terminal or hotel from Progreso or Merida. You'll be shown to comfortable and air-conditioned transportation for the 40-minute drive to the ruin site. Once you are at the Dzibilchaltun Mayan Ruins, you'll follow your guide through what was once the largest cities in ancient Mesoamerica. On your walk, your experienced guide will tell you information about the culture, as well as the meaning and use of the structures you'll see. Next, you'll board your transportation for the drive back to Progreso for your time at Silcer Beach Club. This property is new and limits the amount of guests per day. With our two or four seater manual transmission buggies, you will visit the city of Macau, it's beach and the Dominican countryside in an experience combining exciting moments and culture. You can also choose the buggy you want to drive, whether it is a normal buggy or the predatory version (also called polaris) which is the most comfortable version. In addition, you can choose between 2- (double) and 4-seater (family) strollers.
