Established as a conservation area in the 1960s, the Jozani Forest is now part of Zanzibar’s Jozani-Chwaka National Park, and has become an important sanctuary for one of the rarest primates in Africa: Kirk’s red colobus monkeys. Sightings of these creatures, which are endemic to Zanzibar, are now very frequent in the reserve, where they are thought to number almost 2,500. Which is now adopted as the flagship species for conservation in Zanzibar, from the mid-1990s. Other species of fauna found in the park are the Sykes monkey, bushbabies, more than 50 species of butterfly, and 40 species of birds. The nocturnal Zanzibar tree hyrax, which has four ‘toes’ on its front feet and three on its back, is said to be the first hyrax species that has acclimatized to the forest. The forest is also rumored to be home to the elusive leopard, although it’s been several decades since there have been any official sightings.

Campuhan Ridge Walk is a free and easy nature track, popular among repeat visitors to the central highland town of Ubud. A pristine outback to escape from the contemporary boutique, guesthouse and restaurant-lined Jalan Raya Ubud. While the hike lets you enjoy the cool fresh water and beautiful hillside, it also allows you to get off some calories too with its 9-km hill track. The main access is a concrete path just down from the main road. Smaller letterings bear "Going to Hill" with an arrow pointing left, and as soon as you take on this path, come to sight, the fantastic surroundings of the Campuhan Valley, lined by dense tropical foliage.

This trek is one of the best treks in Darjeeling, panoramic view of Nepal and Sikkim Himalayas can be seen. 4 of the world highest peak Everest, Makalu , Lhotse and Kanchenjunga is visible from Sandakphu and Phalut during trek. The entire trek lies inside national park , if lucky travelers can get to see red panda during trek. You can't visit Cape Town without taking a stab at the mighty Table Mountain one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. A unique feature of Kloof Corner Ridge it offers majestic views towards the north (over the city) and the west Camps Bay/Atlantic coast) at the same time at several points along the way. Arguably the most challenging Table Mountain hike as it involves rock scrambling over three ascents using a chain one through a unique 11 inches rock chimney and follows the narrow ridge on the right hand side of Table Mountain with some heart stopping exposure. This hike being challenging and not marked give you the opportunity to explore some of the lesser traveled path on Table Mountain and to skip the over populated area.

Spend a memorable day trip from Brasov to Piatra Craiului, one of the most challenging massifs in Romania. Together with a specialized mountain guide, you will climb on the main ridge or, depending on your physical condition, you will choose one of the optional routes available. In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Brasov. After a short transfer to Zarnesti, you will reach the starting point. The hike begins with a moderate ascent through a beech forest. Once arrived in Zanoaga meadow, you will see the amazing views of Bucegi mountains and the main ridge of Piatra Craiului mountains. You will continue on an easy trail to Curmatura Chalet, the highest situated hut in this massif, at 1470 meters. Once arrived at the chalet, you will choose one of the trails that lead to the main ridge, to the Ascutit peak (2150 m) or choose another route that best suits your fitness level and experience.
