Enjoy this full day tour exploring the very best of Tropical North Queensland. From lush tropical rainforests and cascading waterfalls, to natural rock-slides and swimming holes, come and visit this beautiful part of Tropical North Queensland. This fun filled day full of laughter and music includes just the right amount of interesting local commentary from your knowledgeable and passionate guide. A residential area close to Waikiki and Ala Moana, Manoa Valley is known for its frequent rain showers. The area receives rain almost every day, making rainbows a common sight. The valley and surrounding mountains are filled with hiking trails, of which Manoa Falls is the most popular. This activity includes a roundtrip shuttle from your Waikiki hotel with a duration of 4 hours (Roundtrip with pickup/drop off). The hike begins over a large footbridge and then crosses a small stream through a grove of Eucalyptus trees. The 0.8 mile trail gradually ascends through a lush rainforest ending at a viewing area set back from the base of the falls. It's a must do attraction! Our tour guide will meet you at the pickup location, at the previously accorded pickup time (call us for confirmation).We'll then go east for around 45 minutes to El Yunque. Throughout the ride, live commentary and interpretation of your surroundings, as well as information on our Puerto Rican heritage, can be provided in both English and Spanish. We will see La Coca Falls and Yokahu Tower once we get in the Rainforest. Then, for around 20 minutes, you'll walk through the flora till you reach the river stream on a nature walk path (look out for slippery, uneven ground). Remember to bring your towel and swimsuit! (Swimming is dependent on the weather.) After the rainforest, we'll board the bus again and travel to Luquillo Beach and Kiosks, where we'll stay for two hours so you can eat or relax on the beach before returning. Finally, we'll wrap up the day by returning guests to their original pick-up location.

A two hour drive along the scenic North Coast past the villages of Maracas & Blanchisseuse will bring us to the starting point of the hike: a tiny village in the remote rainforest. This hike is easy and takes approximately 45 minutes one way. You hike along and inside a shallow river to the most amazing waterfall of approximately 65 ft, with a large plunge pool for bathing. After some relaxing time on the big rocks or a refreshing bath – with a nice head-massage from the falls – you then return to the base. Basic changing facilities are provided. You are then taken to the popular Maracas Beach for a delicious "Bake & Fish" sandwich (not included in cost) and another swim (optional).
