Join us for a 2.5-hour group boat cruise through the cherished tidal creeks of Charleston, South Carolina. This excursion includes an enlightening hour-long stop on the picturesque Morris Island, giving you the opportunity to explore its untouched beach, collect seashells, search for shark teeth, and admire the historic lighthouse. During the journey to and from the island, our naturalist captain will provide in-depth insights into the local ecosystems and historical context. Stay attentive as your captain highlights and describes the diverse wildlife you may encounter, such as Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, wading birds, pelicans, sea turtles, and more. Our tour is perfect for families, friends, couples, or a solo adventure. We are also pet friendly! The water way is calm with land close in sight, so you won’t need to worry about getting sea sick or wet. This tour is relaxing and intimate with small groups. Group sizes are limited to keep a personal experience. Our captains are experienced, knowledgeable, fun, safe, and accommodating! You are welcome to bring whatever you’d like to eat or drink (BYOB). On this tour, the boat ride through Folly Beach's most pristine marshlands is a must do and an adventure in itself. Along the way, your captain will teach you about our local estuary and the wildlife that inhabit it. You will get to see many variety of birds and other sea creatures including our resident bottlenose dolphins! Once at Morris you will be able to enjoy the island, look for various sea shells that scatter the area, and take in the stunning views of the historic lighthouse! You will get to explore the barrier island for approximately 1 hour before getting back on the boat. We'll depart from and return to the Folly River Boat Ramp and enjoy a scenic boat ride through the salt marsh creeks of Folly Island to historic Morris Island. Once on Morris Island, you’ll have the opportunity to walk the beach in search of shells, shark teeth, and other fossils. From Morris Island you will also enjoy breathtaking up-close views of the historic Morris Island lighthouse. During your journey to and from the island, you will enjoy numerous sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins and other saltwater wildlife.

As we make our way through the creeks to Morris Island, you will have the opportunity to see dolphins and wading birds in the marsh and oyster beds. We will land on the south end of Morris Island, near the Lighthouse, where you will have 90 minutes to walk the beach on your own to look for shells, shark teeth and fossils. As we make our way back to the dock, you will likely see dolphins as the inlet behind the island is one of their favorite places to hang out.
