We tour in a variety of classic unique convertible top vehicles. Our unique 'Woody' Vans, specialized Jeep Gladiators or a Mercedes Glass-Top Sprinter van. All are comfortable and safe convertible top vehicles. They offer great elevated views and photo ops without needing to exit. Drive to the State House of Colorado and Civic Center for sightseeing. Proceed to 16st Street Mall, home to some of Denver’s most historical buildings, and enjoy some free time. Drive to and stay overnight in the State Capitol of Wyoming, City of Cheyenne. THIS IS BIG – Designed for visitors that need to see the most of the Black Hills as possible in one day! This is a comprehensive tour of the southern Black Hills with stops at the two famous monuments: Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. And also included is a Wildlife Safari tour to all of Custer State Park (the largest state park in the nation). We make stops at the Visitor Center and the State Game Lodge and then tour along the Wildlife Loop (bison), Needles Highway, Iron Mtn Road, Sylvan Lake and stop at Stockade Lake for a picnic lunch (included).

You will depart Rapid City at 8:30 am and travel to Mount Rushmore. You will spend time hiking around the monument. Next, you will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial, learning the importance and history of Crazy Horse. Finally, you will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. You will be able to see wildlife at an incredibly close proximity and enjoy the local flora. In each of these locations, you will gain unique and rare insight into the history of the Black Hills. Custer State Park in the one of the largest State Parks in the nation. Encompassing 71,000 acres in the Black Hills, it is home to abundant wildlife and adventures. There’s something here for everyone, the granite peaks, rolling plains and clear mountain waters are fantastic. Open-Top-Tours is the only company to offer 6 hour Bison Jeep Tours to ALL of Custer State Park. (Not the 60 minute limited tour offered by others.) We tour in our unique modified Jeep Gladiators and Wrangers, with seating from 2 to 14 with great panoramic viewing. Our guides are professional, well informed and a 'hoot' to tour with. They will explain local history, wildlife and answer your questions. Tours include: fees, bottled water and snacks. And we include special treats to feed the "Beggin Burros" as we stop along the Loop. (They know us well and come running when they spot us.) Tours depart Rapid City at 8:00am and Keystone at 8:30am.
