On this full day tour of the American sector on D-Day, we will visit the drop zones of the US Airborne Divisions, the landing beaches "Utah" and "Omaha", the cliffs and German fortifications at La Pointe du Hoc, and we will finally pay our respects at the Normandy American Cemetery. At most sites there will be some free time for you to take photos, use restrooms and/or grab a coffee.

Your guide will take you for two and a half hours to follow the battles that took place on Omaha Beach, on the Easy Red and Fox Green sectors, in front of Wn 62, fulcrum of the Atlantic Wall. Through the eyes and personal stories of German and American soldiers, you will discover how these men lived that day on June 6, 1944. Travelling through the German trenches and fortifications, your guide will tell you how German soldiers reacted to the Allied landings and their impact on the early hours of D-Day on this beach, now known as "Bloody Omaha". After this time on the beach, your guide will accompany you within the American Cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer to learn more about this memorial place, emblematic of the D-Day beaches, welcoming the burials of more than 9,300 men and women.
