Walk between Madeira´s highest peaks! Starting at Pico do Areeiro, within a short distance we come upon the Ninho da Manta (Buzzard’s Nest) belvedere. From this platform one can see the valley of Fajã da Nogueira, where some Manx shearwater (Puffinus puffinnus) breed, São Roque do Faial and a large part of the Central Mountain Range. To reach Pico Ruivo at 1862m, we must go around Pico das Torres up a steep incline of steps carved in the rock and then descend, the most difficult part of this trail being the final climb to the Shelter at Pico Ruivo. But the thought of reaching the highest point of the island is a driving force. From the Pico Ruivo shelter, the footpath leads to Achada do Teixeira car park, where you can see “Homem em pé” (Standing Man), a basalt rock formation found on the way down the slope after you pass the shelter at Achada do Teixeira.

You will drive further to lake Landro, lake Dobbiaco and finally to the amazing lake Braies for small walk or row boat ride (boat available only in the summer time). Hike to the Adam's peak is a seasonal activity which is popular among both local and international travelers. Best time for the climb starts in December and goes till June every year. Distance of the climb is around 6 km one way and travelers prefer doing this during the night time as they can enjoy the breathtaking sunrise view from the peak in the early morning. You will be guided by our experienced, guide who has done the hike for more than 100 times. If you prefer discovering this journey alone, our chauffer will be waiting at the starting point in the vehicle until you return back. We start from Kandy around 5.30 pm and will be stopping for Dinner somewhere in Hatton. On the return journey we can stop for scenic places including water falls, view points, tea estates etc. Standard tour, we return to Kandy at the end. But if you have any other plan to go to Hatton, Nuwaraeliya or Ella etc we can accomodate such request and there might be a nominal fee charge for extra traveling

First stop on tour will be a short walk on the edge of Perućica forest. Perućica is one of the last primeval forests in Europe, at the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage. We will walk to a viewpoint overlooking the forest and admire the views on Skakavac waterfall as well as the rocky peaks of Maglić, Volujak and Zelengora high above. The hike itself follows the Postmans' route. This is the easiest trail that takes 34h to reach the peak, but it is not for those afraid of the heights. You need to be strong on your feet, and able to walk on hard terrain for prolonged period of time. The first part is very easy, slowly ascending through the forest on the trail that was used by partisans during the WWII to avoid the Nazi troops. Once we leave the forest, the mighty northern face of Maglić appears. We will enjoy the view while we walk on easy trail to the foot of the mountain. Stunning views on mountains in central Bosnia and Montenegro will make all our effort worthwhile.

Is it possible to hike up to the highest peak of Hungary from Budapest in one day? Surprisingly yes! We start from Budapest, take a long bus ride till Mátraháza. From Mátraháza we take a longer uphill walk through beautiful beech forests to reach Kékes, the highest peak. At the top there is a super high telecommunication tower with a panorama terrace to make this experience even more outstanding. We start descending from the peak, and on our way we will visit several other lookout points with stunning views to the north. We continue until we reach the old ruins of a small fort with a beautiful landscape back to the Mátra mountains and to the plains in the south. At the end we take a bus from a small village back to Budapest

Lupanga peak located in Uluguru north, east-south of Morogoro town at 2138m above sea level. The trail is steep, which starts at the end of Forest Hill Road, at Kibwe village passing through farmland and into the nature reserve along a ridge up to the peak. On a clear day, there are good views towards the eastern side of the Uluguru, also there is a Germany tower built at the peak which is used for viewing distant places. A walk to the peak may be dangerous in the wet season. It is recommended to use a local tour guide. On the way you can be able to see birds like Livingston Turaco, Silvery cheeked Hornbills and others. The peak is located in the Uluguru Mountain.

A private car will pick you up at ~3AM from your hotel. After a 2h30 drive, you will reach the trailhead in Punta Olimpica. At the first sunrise lights, you will start hiking with our certified mountain guide for 1h on steep moraine rocks, then 1h30 on glacier with crampons and safety rope. You will finally summit the Mateo glacier at 5150m shortly after sunrise!! After enjoying the peak, you will descend for ~1h30 and drive back to Huaraz, arriving around 12AM-1PM.
