In this tour we will visit 3 of the oldest and most beautiful historical sites in Transylvania. We will visit the village of Saxon Viscri, with rustic streets and beautifully colored Saxon houses. We will climb the hill and visit the fortified white church, hence the name of the village of Viscri (the White Church). Then we'll head to Sighisoara, the city played an important strategic and commercial role at the edges of Cetral Europe for several centuries.Old medieval houses with a beautiful architecture, narrow streets with brightly colored houses will come back in time and make you feel like princesses and princes (see Vlad Tepes) who lived in the city. Rupea Citadel, built on Cohalmului Hill, dominating the city from above, was built and expanded in the 14th-17th centuries, as a fortress and refuge for the surrounding villages.From up inside the fortress we will have a beautiful panorama of the surroundings

Take this unique private tour in one of the world’s best kept secrets: the Viscri Village. It’s considered a UNESCO monument, and even Prince Charles has bought a house here. It’s houses are colored in blue and white, and it’s fortified Church watches over the village. It’s a place where time seems to have stopped. In the second part of the trip, we are heading to the heart of Sighisoara, the last inhabited Citadel of Europe. Take a walk on it’s cobbled streets, narrow paths and colorful houses. The Old Town Square is an area protected by UNESCO. It’s medieval architecture comes from the Saxon people, who came here in the 1100s. They also built many mighty towers, each named after one of their guilds. If you love the medieval history and are passionate about finding out more, Sighisoara is the best place for you. It’s also the birth place of Dracula, also known as Vlad the Impaler.

You will be taken from your hotel in Basov by a professional guide and you will go to the most spectacular road in Europe – Transfagarasan. We will stop first and visit the Carta Monastery built in the late Gothic style, by the Cistercian monks who came to Transylvania from Burgundy – France. Transfagarasan Highway is the most spectacular and beautiful mountain road in Europe, enough to feature on the UK motor show Top Gear, Transfagarasan Highway might just be “the best road in the world” as Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson claimed. It's a road going up in the mountains and unites Transylvania with Valachia. Great scenes, noisy waterfalls, Glaciar Balea lake, will make you feel great up there and forget about the stress of the city. During the winter, between the months of November and July, we will go up by van to the hotel Balea Cascada 1446, from where we will take the cable car (from here up the road is closed due to snow). The price of the cable car is not included .

At around 8 AM your guide will pick you up from your location in Brasov and transfer to the starting point at Dambu Morii. Start hiking and after about 1 hour you will reach the Seven Ladders Canyon, carved by the Sipoaia stream in Jurassic limestone. You will go right through it on the special trail built with metal and consisting of seven ladders and multiple bridges. After exiting the canyon, you will continue your hike up to the Piatra Mare hut, at 1630 meters. After a short break, begin climbing to the peak, at 1844m. From the top, you will have fantastic views over Brasov area and the surrounding mountains: Bucegi, Piatra Craiului, Baiului, Postavaru, Ciucas. Depending on weather conditions and fitness level of the participants, you have several routes on the way down. One of them leads back to the hut where you can have a well deserved lunch. Continue down to base, get in the car and get back to your location in Brasov.

See one of the most amazing places in Brasov – the magnificent Seven Ladders Canyon, in this small-group half day trip from Brasov. Carved by the river in ancient limestone from the Jurassic era, this gorge is one of the most popular attractions for tourists and locals as well. After a hike through the forests situated at the foothills of Piatra Mare mountain, you will arrive at the canyon and go through it on almost vertical ladders. If you're afraid of heights, you can relax outside the canyon and enjoy the scenery.

May-November .Meet your driver-guide at your hotel from Brasov in the late afternoon and set off by air-conditioned minivan or car ,and you will go by car for about 30 minutes in the forests around Brasov . As you travel, gain fascinating insights into the brown bears, hearing how they can grow to enormous sizes, with some males reaching up to 770 pounds (350 kgs). Learn about their lives in the wild, and how their sharp sense of smell is vital in ensuring their survival. We will meet with the Rangeer who will show us the rules that we have to respect in the habitat of the bears.Then we will walk about 20 minutes or with a jeep to the observatory . Here we will see the brown bears in their environment. We will photograph males, females with chickens and their interaction. After about two hours, we leave the observer, we will return to the van.You will be left in Brasov at your hotel. You will have wonderful memories of the wild life of the brown bear seen in the forest.

One of the most imposing historical monuments of Romania is in Bran-Rucar Pass. Bran Castle is located about 30 km away from the city of Braşov, on the road that goes through the old Bartolomeu neighborhood and connects Braşov to Campulung Muscel, the first capital of Wallachia, where the Piatra Craiului Mountains meet with the Bucegi Mountains. Built on a cliff, the castle now houses the Bran museum, a museum that spans its four floors. The “Libearty” bear Sanctuary is not a zoo! The mission of the sanctuary is to save the captive animals who lived in miserable conditions, offering them the necessary care, decent living conditions in a natural environment within an area of 69 hectares of forests, streams and pools. The “Libearty” Sanctuary does not receive any public funds! It is built and administered by the Millions of Friends Association, a non-governmental organization.

Rising from its own ruin, the Marienburg Fortress rises imposingly at Feldioara, on the banks of the Olt, only 20 km from Brașov, on the road to Sighișoara. Its restoration, carried out in 2013-2017, saved the remains of the walls that had survived the last hundred years of abandonment and restored its appearance in the seventeenth century. The strategic position, with visibility over a large area, and the natural advantages have made this place attractive in prehistory. During the archeological researches, the plateau on which the fortress rises revealed vestiges of habitation from the earliest times – Neolithic, Bronze Age, Dacian and Roman period, but especially the Middle Ages.
