Departure at 9 am from Genoa cruise terminal, arrival at the harbor of Santa Margherita at about 9:45 am, from where, in about 20 minutes, you can reach Portofino by boat, visit of Portofino and return by boat to Santa Margherita at 12:30, tour of the village of Santa Margherita and lunch in a typical trattoria. After lunch, through the pass of La Ruta, overlooking the Mount of Portofino, we reach Camogli by car, visit of the picturesque old town and at around 3:30 pm we return back to Genoa along the coastal road, with a stop to the center before to back on board. Though your English-speaking driver can offer commentary while driving you around, they are not allowed to do so outside of the car. If you would like someone to walk the sites with you or give commentary within major landmarks, private guides are available for hire at an additional cost. The driver will be happy to make suggestions about the best places to eat throughout the day.

Portofino is an Italian fishing village, located on the Italian Riviera. The city is famous for its colourfully painted buildings that line the shore, high-end boutiques and seafood restaurants fringe its Piazzetta. Its picturesque harbor and historical association is the reason it is famous among the tourists. Admire the 10th century-old Church of San Martino, the symbol of the city. Explore the small cobbled square overlooking the harbor and the scenic view from the Chiesa di San Giorgio.

We will sail along the coast to discover the beauty of a landscape shaped by nature and the work of man. We will sail slowly to relax and I will show you the most interesting areas, their curiosities and the best spots for a refreshing swim. We will visit the bay of Portofino with its wonderful views and you will be able to admire the characteristic village from the sea. Upon request, here you can get off for a short walk between the piers or to go shopping. Then we will pass the tip of the promontory on which stands the lighthouse that delimits the gulf and we will continue in the marine protected area up to the bay of San Fruttuoso. Here we will stop for a swim and to see with masks the Christ of the Abyss (a statue placed on the bottom of the sea), you will admire the magical bay and the abbey of San Fruttuoso from the sea.

At our meeting we will walk through the streets of Santa Margherita, appreciating both the artistic and scenic beauties, until arriving at the boarding for Portofino. Once you reach the iconic village surrounded by colorful houses and elegant shops, we will stroll to Brown Castle to enjoy the view from the Lighthouse.
