On this full day, guided excursion, you will go through the mountains that surround Mendoza city. See stunning scenarios along the way, and many other points of interest such as the majestic Cordon del Plata mountain range, the Potrerillos Dam, Uspallata settlement, and "Puente del Inca" which is the southern last point of the Inca Empire, Aconcagua scenic viewpoint and the Cristo Redentor monument. Pickup and drop-off at select hotels provided. We sail Mendoza River, in the town of Potrerillos, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the imposing dam. Each participant will receive their equipment and after the safety talk and transfer to the starting point, we will dive into the river to enjoy the activity. With rapids that can get level III / IV in summer and will make this excursion an unforgettable adventure.

We will head southwest on Provincial Route 86, enjoying the landscapes of Cacheuta until we cross the tunnel that connects this town with Potrerillos. We will contemplate the wonderful view of the Cordón del Plata, Mendoza’s main source of water and, of the picturesque Potrerillos Dam, a mirror of crystalline water in the middle of mountains. We will continue along this path, contemplating the unforgettable landscape, going through tunnels and bridges, until we reach the town of Uspallata. Again we will make a strategic stop to get a better view of the Valley as a whole. Already back in the van, we will move a few kilometers, until we reach “Puente del Inca”. Mandatory stop icon of our mountain range. Once we return to the route, the Aconcagua Provincial Park awaits us. There we will obtain the corresponding permits to make a walk of approximately one hour, to the viewpoint of the Laguna de Horcones, where we can see the South Wall and the summit of the highest hill in America.

The tour consists of a tour through the high mountains, in a group car and with a driver specifically designated for the client, who will not only be the one who takes them but also who accompanies them and helps them learn, from their experience, the route traveled. We will visit Potrerillos, Puente del Inca and Aconcagua; Lunch will take place in places close to these points and finally you will attend Entre Dos, an alfajores factory where you can have a delicious mid-afternoon thanks to its typical alfajores. The itinerary will be put together with schedules adjusted to your liking and can be modified if desired with recommendations that the client makes to us. And in the same day, you will visit different historical sites of the Andes mountain range route: Cacheuta, Potrerillos Dam, Uspallata and Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge). You will experience a day in the world of mountaineering. During the tour, you will hike around the Horcones Lagoon, with a view of the south wall of Mount Aconcagua, accompanied by professional trekking guides who will share their experiences and advice about this exciting activity. The hike is about 1-2 hours long, and is not very difficult. In addition, we will cover almost 400 km. of route with places that represent a piece of our history and postcard-like landscapes. We will have time to rest, take pictures, and enjoy breakfast with homemade alfajor (Argentine pastries) and lunch consisting of a barbecue.

We want to take you to participate in a Mendoza experience guided by Mendoza residents. We will start with the San Martín Park, a great work from the beginning of the 20th century, made possible thanks to the irrigation of the province. The use of canals and exploitation of meltwater. We will continue on our way, following the Mendoza River and its slopes to its main source, Lake Potrerillos. We will visit the Cipolletti dam, Cacheuta and finally the lake. There, if you wish, we can do a little trekking to have fabulous views of the mountain. We begin this trip with the imposing view of the Potrerillos Dam, which surprises us after touring the Cacheuta Tunnel. Our next stop will be Uspallata. From the southernmost point of the Inca Empire, we head to the towns of Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas and the former Los Penitentes ski complex. Later, we will find the Puente del Inca, a rock formation that represents a natural bridge surrounded by springs of hot springs, over the Las Cuevas River. A few kilometers from there, Cerro Aconcagua. Finally we will arrive at the town of Las Cuevas to make our lunch stop and tour one of the Authentic Towns of our country. Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel to Chile, there is the route that allows you to ascend to the Christ the Redeemer Monument. This icon, located at 4,200 meters above sea level, symbolizes the union between Argentines and Chileans, and from there you can enjoy one of the fabulous views of the high mountain range.

Ride the Route 7 mountain range, taking into account the majestic Andes Mountains. The first stop is at Potrerillos del Río Mendoza, which follows the road during the excursion. We continue traveling through a tunnel area and then into the Uspallata Valley, which separates the pre and the front ridge. Then we started up the high mountain road. We will reach Los Penitentes. We continue to travel the international route in a landscape framed by the Andean massif and bordering the old railway line. We arrive at Puente del Inca, a natural bridge with hot springs and a rich history. Then the mountains open to show Aconcagua, stop at the Mirador. Finally we come to the city of Las Cuevas and the weather permitting, we go to Christ the Redeemer. Lunch at the restaurant or option to make our own barbecue with chef. You will experience a full day regional tour. The activity will begin in the Front Mountain Range -at 2,400 meters above sea level- with a low-difficulty 3-hour hike. During the tour we will get to know the typical way of life of the locals, with their livestock and their pace of life, so different from that of the city.
