Starting from the Old Port of Cannes, I suggest you discover the coastline by sailing to Sainte-Marguerite Island in the Lérins archipelago. I would share my passion for sailing, with my restored vintage sailboat, an 8 m Jeanneau Sangria. For lunchtime, there will be an anchor picnic, including anchovy and tzatziki (homemade), with a basket of vegetables and rosé wine. Then you will have the opportunity to sail in the Bay of Cannes. I will share my sailing experience and you can participate in the boat maneuvers for adventure lovers. You can also swim in the crystal clear waters, discover the seabed with diving masks and enjoy this friendly sailboat. Swimming towels and diving masks will be included. From 1 to 20 September, the port of departure and itineraries will be changed.

Charter a skippered yacht for a 2 hour sailing experience, get involved and take control of the yacht or just sit back and enjoy the stunning scenery unfold around you. The boat: 23 foot Jeanneau yacht which can comfortably accommodate groups of up to four guests. There is plenty of space to relax above and below deck as well as storage for bags, fresh water and toilet access.

We sail by Fortezza, with its cannon ports still intact to keep the pirates ships out of the bay. So close you can almost touch it! With the view of the Aptera fort, the fort of the Idjedin prison just below it, past the beaches of Kalyves and Almyrides, the isle of Karga we reach for the lighthouse of Drapano. With the White Mountains as a backdrop and always depended on wind direction we may sail northeast to a very small cove with beautiful sandy waters or we sail northwest around another small island to a beautiful lagoon, we drop anchor where you can swim/snorkel and play in crystal clear turquoise waters. While you swim I prepare you a freshly cooked Cretan/Spartan lunch with Greek specialties, local pasta, sauteed vegetables, fresh salad, mama’s olives, goat cheese, fresh bread, wine/beer/soda/water and finally fresh yogurt with sweet fruit and Greek sweets. You enjoy, eat, relax and then we raise anchor to sail back to port, usually as the sun starts to set in front of us.
