Departing daily from Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, we set out at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm on a 2.5-hour excursion along the island’s southwest coast, where we search for dolphins and other cetaceans in their natural habitat. Our vessel, Spirit of the Sea, accommodates 97 guests and has a large glass bottom, offering a rare chance to observe the underwater world from the comfort of the boat. Our mission is to provide a respectful and ethical wildlife-watching experience. Holding all the necessary permits from the Canary Islands Government, we’re dedicated to operating in a way that puts the well-being of the animals first, ensuring that all sightings are conducted responsibly. There are few experiences as wonderful as enjoying the spectacle of animals in their natural environment and without a doubt being able to see dolphins and whales up close is one of the most impressive. Sometimes there will be a few and sometimes there will be thousands of them but it's always fascinating On our excursions you can see from the small common dolphin to the largest animal that has lived on the earth; the blue whale. But you will also have the possibility to see turtles, flying fish and other marine species. You can see the beautiful coast from another perspective and you will also have the possibility to swim in the sea if you want.

Embark on a family-friendly trip from Puerto de Mogan to the Tasarte area. Take in the stunning cliffs of Gran Canaria and snap some unbeatable photos. Once you arrive in the Tasarte area, turn around and navigate to El Perchel. Then, stop at this awesome cove, accessible only by boat, where you can enjoy around 1.5 hours of snorkeling. During this time, identify many kinds of fish and swim all around the crystal water of Gran Canaria. After your swim, get ready for some food as potatoes with mojo, a Spanish omelette, bread, and fresh fruit. Please notice: TO BE ABLE TO REACH THE BEACH YOU MUST SWIM. Enjoy a dolphin and whale watching cruise, sailing offshore from the southwest coast of Gran Canaria, in the area between Puerto de Mogán and the Maspalomas Lighthouse. Get on board one of our catamarans, safe and comfortable boats that, due to their characteristics, offer a pleasant navigation, with less rolling than a monohull or smaller catamarans. . After sailing in search of cetaceans, we will return to the coast, making a stop of about 30 – 45 minutes in Cala del Perchel, Taurito, Tauro or Anfi del Mar, depending on the sighting area that has been navigated. At that time you can enjoy a refreshing swim, use the snorkeling equipment included in the activity and have a refreshing drink, returning later to Puerto Rico to end the activity.

When you try scuba diving in Gran Canaria with Puerto Rico Diving, we make the difference. We always conduct our try dives in small groups as we believe this makes your first experience under water more relaxing and fun! Our first stop is a magical place: the Guayadeque Valley, a stream meanders along the valley and it's the only constant water flowing during the whole year on the island. The next stop is Puerto Mogán, an old fishing village that has become one of the most elegant and suggestive tourist locations on the southern island side, where traditional fishing boats are mixed with yachts and sightseeing boats. The snorkelling safari with Leagues Ahead Diving is suited for both adults and children alike! Our PADI instructor guides will take you to the best snorkelling site on the island and introduce you to the underwater world of Gran Canaria in a fun, relaxed, and safe manner. Depending on which snorkelling site will offer you the best conditions, we will visit either Amadores Bay or Puerto De Mogan!
