Wadi Rum is a vast desert landscape with towering sandstone mountains, red sand dunes, and ancient rock formations. You will experience the history and culture of Jordan. Petra was an important trading city for the Nabateans over 2,000 years ago. Wadi Rum was home to the Bedouin people for centuries. On your tour, you will learn about the history and culture of these two regions. You will have the opportunity to go on a jeep tour of Wadi Rum. This is a great way to see the desert and its many attractions, such as the Lawrence of Arabia Spring and the Seven Pillars of Wisdom.

Guiding fees by Jordanian authorities is 90 Jod per day or any part of the day in addition of overnight and other expenses. For hike tours it 150 Jod per day or any part of the day in addition of overnights and other expenses. No matter the number of pax / group members. The guiding fees are the same. In the morning pick up from your hotel in Amman and transfer via the Desert Highway for 2.5 -03.00 approx. hours to the astonishing rock city Petra. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated for a long time the Arabian trade routes, and is a must see in the Middle East. Meet your guide at the Visitor's Centre and start to explore the mystic site. You pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theatre and Qasr Al Bint. Free time on your own and then walk back the way you came. You will be provided with a box lunch to enjoy as a picnic in Petra, or alternatively you might like to have a late lunch in a restaurant in the town after your visit to Petra. After you will be transferred back to Amman (03 hr driving) and dropped off at your hotel at the Amman/Amman or the airport

Tour start With your guide walk through the 1.2km-long Siq to reach the city of Petra to explore history and natural landscape. You will pass to water channels , wall carvings , original paving stones , Winged Lion’s Temple , Qasr al Bint , Royal Tombs , Byzantine and Blue Churches , Colonnaded Street , your tour not complete without visiting the Treasury , climb the 800+ steps to the Monastery and the Petra Museum where your tour ended . Then return to the entrance gates via the Siq to meet with your driver. and head to Wadi Rum. At a desert campsite, freshen up then climb into the back of a 4WD jeep for a 2 hour tour Travel across vast tracts of sand .See ancient rock inscriptions, and local Bedouin tribes with their flocks of goats, sheep and camels. Return to the campsite where your driver will be waiting to take you to Aqaba.
