This tour is a combination of culture experiencing and nature exploring. Travelers will both discover My Son sanctuary and its natural surroundings. – 5:30 – 5:45: Travelers get pickup from hotels in Hoi An – 6:15: Travelers get dropped at the area where they start their trek with the local experienced guide. Before going on the trek , travelers have a light breakfast and coffee. Travelers go on the journey with an experienced local who went to mandatory service and used to be a hunter. He then will lead guests through the hidden paths, peaceful streams while naturescape keeps exposing ahead. While going on their trek, travelers will find it easy to encounter some wild animals like squirrels, chicken, birds,… On the way, guests rest and have BBQ by the hidden waterfalls that only locals know. Travelers also visit My Son Sanctuary on the way of the trek. This trek is believed to be the ancient way how pilgrims went on their Hindu pilgrimage. Tour ends at around 1:00 pm.

We travel about 50km from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremonies of kings of the Champa civilization and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area.
