Dedication, History and umpararelled expertise Our clan is the only remaining ninja clan whose ancestors served the Tokugawa Shogunate for 265 years. In 1868 they became independent so they could continue to keep their identity as shinobi. All of our ninja weapons have been handcrafted in the clan. Our ancestors were, shinobi samurai. They were of samurai lineage, and they trained local people to work as shinobinomono. Our ancestors escorted Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1582, and that's when our clan history really started. In this hands-on ninja and samurai experience, the basic principles of the Ninshido (shinobi samurai philosophy) are introduced in a practical, dynamic and mindful way. If you want to know the clan's mindsets, history and tradition, you need a reliable experienced instructor (6th Dan or higher black belt) and a licensed interpreter/trainer with specialized knowledge. .

You can learn calligraphy as an art cherished in our ninja clan. The purpose of training calligraphy is the same as the martial arts training: to be able to keep peace of mind under any kind of circumstance as shinobi. Not many know that there used be be at least one family that specialize in the art of calligraphy in each ninja clan. Those families were in charge of writing letters to feudal lords and deciphering documents. Their knowledge was vast from Chinese classics to science and medicine so that they could communicate well with the nobility and scholars as well as the Sengoku feudal lords. Our clan served the Tokugawa Shogunate and we have been following our ancestors footsteps and kept our traditions to this date.

This is a crash course offered in winter by our 8th-dan Master Ninja. You will have a ninja/samurai clothing experience with a fun workshop. Our Master Ninja will give demonstrations with 3 different weapons. We are the only lasting Igamono shinobi samurai clan in Japan. Our ancestors served the Tokugawa Shogunate for 265 years. We have a real history and are committed to maintaining our legacy. You will learn the techniques that our students learn in the dojo. Our instructor is the real deal. Our workshop is for those who want to know more than just have fun. All of our instructors in charge hold a Black Belt higher than 6th Dan of our school. We think it essential that we provide experienced interpreters with specialized knowledge. All of our interpreters/trainers are nationally licensed tour guides versed in shinobi samurai culture.
