The walk begins on Praia Vermelha (Red Beach) at Claudio Coutinho Cooper Track, into the small and famous neighborhood of Urca. The climb is made by headlands of rock and trails, with a small piece of a technical climb, which will be used all the necessary safety equipment. Do not worry, because our guides will help you in this adventure, you will get to know Rio from another angle in a Carioca way. After reach the top (396m) and relaxing a bit, it’s time to get the Cable car to the firs hill, Morro da Urca. From there we take a small and light track to the Red Beach. The eastern side of Sugarloaf referred to as the Costão, allows for an enchanting hike up to the top of the mountain, providing you with spectacular views of the sea, forest, and mountain, as well as the lovely city of Niterói, all in one place. After enjoying the views at the top of the mountain, we will come down by cable car, which is also included in the price. The cable car will take us to Morro da Urca, the smaller mountain next to Sugar Loaf. From there, we will walk down the trail to get back to the Claudio Coutinho path.
