Nothing can be more magical than watching the sun rise over the mountains whilst stood at the summit of Snowdon, the highest point in Wales. Join us on this unique challenge to climb Snowdon while most are still in bed. You’ll start your climb while it’s still dark with the only light coming from your head torch and the moon. Safely accompanied by your mountain guide you’ll arrive at the summit just in time to watch the sun rise in the distance. Client satisfaction is our top priority. The hike will be delivered by a fully qualified mountain leader who will know a great deal about both Snowdon and Snowdonia and of course the mountains of Wales in general. They will describe what you are seeing and tell you a few tall tales along the way… During the months of May to September there is a cafe near the summit of this highest mountain in Wales, but do not depend on this for sustenance. It's often closed due to weather conditions and so we always advise taking a good packed lunch along with a flask of something warm. Know before you go: This tour will take place rain or shine You will climb 900m to reach the summit of Snowdon. There is no elevator 🙂 Although most levels of fitness can be accommodated please be sensible when booking and know your own ability

Our Mountain Leader guide will deliver this true mountain day, 14km and 900m of ascent, to the summit of this world-renowned mountain by a lesser-known path. A truly amazing mountaineering experience that is, with the help of the guide, available to novices through to old-time adventurers alike. With Snowdon being popular its paths can become very crowded indeed. However, the path we will take for the ascent only ever has a handful of walkers and midweek we'll have it to ourselves! This is remarkable as Snowdon is quite rightly the most visited mountain peak in the UK. This allows our tour to the summit of Snowdon to be a relaxed event with a true flavour of isolation. The descent is 'off piste' and follows the escarpment edge, with, weather permitting, dramatic views straight down into the valley below and across to the slate town of Llanberis.
