*All cruise tours depart from the National Aquarium – please see note below* This scenic tour will depart Napier, following the coastline before heading inland to follow the beautiful Tukituki River with stunning views across the valley and the Havelock North hills to Te Mata Peak. You will then cross the river, heading past Craggy Range winery and into Havelock North before starting the exhilarating climb, almost 400m, to the top of the Peak with spectacular, 360-degree panoramic views of Hawkes Bay and on a clear day as far as the volcanic Ruapehu! Climbing a mountain on a V8 trike can be an experience to remember, great for celebrating birthdays or that special occasion. We spend approximately 20 mins at the Peak before heading back down through the orchards and vineyards. Napier does not have a cruise passenger terminal so all passengers a required to hop on the free shuttles into the city, the second stop is the National Aquarium which is where our cruise tours depart from.

The trail turns inland along Tukituki River valley vineyards. You can visit up to 4 wineries. Enjoy local cuisine, wine tasting or a glass of wine before our shuttle comes to take you back to Napier. This is a self-guided bike ride, you'll be provided map with directions and highlights. The route is 28km (17 mile) long and almost all cycle trail. Continue to the famous Te Mata Peak for the panoramic views over the Hawkes Bay. Explore the Hooters Showroom, showcasing vintage and classic cars, followed by at a stop at Ahuriri Village, a historic fishing village known for its charming atmosphere and the National Tobacco Building, an iconic Art Deco structure perfect for photos.

The top of the island is a place with privileged views, so it has an important flow of tourists at the usual times. We offer to ride to the highest of the island at sunset, a time when you will feel that there is no one but you on the whole island. Silence is part of the natural spectacle. And to get there, we ride in the middle of the forest and meadows, where it is very difficult to bump into other people. A feeling of being in the middle of the wild, revives the soul of the island.

The 6-hour tour overviews the region, highlighting art deco, orchids, vineyards, sheep farming, cattle farming, deer farming, and so much more. Spectacular rural drive and views.
