Meet your guide, Yoshi, who was born in Tokyo and has lived in the entertainment district since he was young. Experience the local Tokyo events, and the izakayas, snack bars, and pubs that only the locals go to. Let's get to know the present state of Kabuki-cho, which is not conveyed in the media. By actually looking around, you will learn the reality of Kabuki-cho. Kabuki-cho is filled with a wide variety of culture. Among them, the youth culture and pub culture are the ones that are getting a lot of attention right now. Let's have a look around with your guide over drinks. If there is a restaurant you are interested in, go in together. Your guide can also take you to places that only adults are allowed to enter that you may be hesitant to go into.

In this 2-hour Japanese Whisky Tasting tour, you'll visit a local whisky bar with an English-speaking guide, taste different types of Japanese whiskies, and learn more about what makes Japanese whisky different from other whiskey in the world. Join us for an intimate small-group tour of Monzennakacho, a calm and historic area in East Tokyo, known as "Shitamachi." Led by Manami, a local native with a Ph.D. in cultural heritage protection, this tour offers a deep dive into the local spiritual and cultural backstory. 1. Discover Shitamachi’s Rich History: Manami will reveal the unique history of Shitamachi utilizing visual tools. She'll also explain how Buddhism and Shinto coexist. 2. Naritasan Fukagawa Fudōdō: Visit a Buddhist temple where you'll see a spectacle fire ceremony accompanied by powerful drum beats. Manami guides you through the etiquette and photography rules. She shows scene by scene explanation sheets as we observe the ceremony in silence. 3. Tomioka Hachimangu: Experience the calm atmosphere of this Shinto shrine, and view the impressive "Sumo rocks".
