Tulamben diving is a water activity that will make your holiday special. Tulamben is a small village in Bali, located in the northeast area. The area has black sand with smooth rocks. Because of the gentle current and waves, this located is ideal for diving. There are several diving spots there, but most tourists like visiting the Coral Garden and USAT Liberty Wreck. On each location, you have 30 minutes to 40 minutes to explore the areas. Depending on the diving operators, you can generally enjoy two times diving time. Explore some of the best dive sites off the north-east coast of Bali with an experienced instructor and encounter the marine life and coral gardens along the way. Located just 30 meters from the beach, the wreck measures an impressive 120 meters on a steeply sloping sandy bottom, with its top just 3 meters below the water surface. Sunk by torpedoes on January 11, 1942, the USAT Liberty was carrying rubber and railroad parts for war service across the Lombok Strait. The damage was critical, but 2 destroyers hitched her up and tried to tow her to the port at Singaraja.

Explore the northeastern part of Bali on a snorkeling safari starting from the clean and clear Tulamben beach. The ship has been sunken for more than 40 years making it a top scuba diving destination in Bali. Luckily snorkelers can also see it from the surface without having to dive deep into the water.

This tour will begin at your home, hotel or cruise ship and take you past the most interesting places in Boston including the Paul Revere House, the USS Constitution, the Bunker Hill Battle Monument, Copley Square and Fenway Park. If you have always dreamt of learning to dive, discover new sensations or just want to explore the diversity of the ocean, the Discover Scuba Diving course is your starting point towards underwater adventure. This diving initiation is made for you ! Please be reassured, the learning curve is progressive. After a short briefing, one of our instructors will take you to Coral Garden. You will perform a few excercises in shallow enough water to stand to aquire the confidence you need, then off you go to explore the site. It is truly a enormous aquarium! After returning to the dive center for a short rest and refuel, we will take you to the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck. Maximum depth 12 meters (40 feet).

The former Naval Training Center in San Diego has transformed itself into Liberty Station and this is your opportunity to learn important sailor skills without having to drop and give us 20! We'll explore the historic core of the area, and see the buildings that help transform new recruits into sailors and sailors into specialists. We'll start at the USS Brave art piece, explore the former Camp John Paul Jones, visit the former Command Center, the former detention camp, and pay tribute to the 52 submarines lost during World War II. We'll also see the modern golf course (and talk about who made it their final resting place), what Liberty Station has in common with Balboa Park, and learn some skills. After you pass muster, we'll celebrate your "graduation" with a certificate of completion and a beer.
