A rare evening Food Crawl, Village Nights is designed for people who want to walk and talk and eat in one of the most influential neighborhoods on earth. Village Nights starts at Astor Place and often stops at the oldest bar in the city, but no matter where we go, we’ll eat great food and weave together the narrative of this truly incredible place. BUT this is not your normal food tour. We don't follow a fixed route. Instead the experienced, licensed guide will get the pulse of the group (max 8 participants) and draw from a big bag of options to make each experience a little more personal, memorable, and unique. We’re licensed, professional guides who are always learning more about New York. That’s how we can run organic events that are less scripted and more like an eclectic group of friends out for a food crawl in the city. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to walk. This is a half day tour where you will experience the locals doing about their day to day. Guests are picked up from their hotel in a luxury of a 4WD/Minibus. The first stop is at the fruits and vegetable Market. You are welcome to taste some of the local fruits that are in season. Tour will then continue to the Rural Farming School where Guests will have a tour around the school and passing through fields of sugarcane and vegetable farming where you might see a bowed oxen ploughing the fields in the same way they have been doing for over hundred years. Then at an Indian friend's house there's Indian food sampling and Culture sharing. We then continue on to the Fijian Village of Yavuna where you will be greeted by the Village guide. As a norm in a Fijian Culture a (sevusevu ) Ceremony is done to welcome a visitor. Kava is used here. Guests are then taken on a village guided tour. Guests are then invited to to have an authentic lunch prepared by the village before departure.

Discover the Hoi A water coconut forest with this experience. Enjoy local activities and cruise the canals of the coconut forest by a bamboo basket boat, a traditional means of transport in Hoi An. Hoi An basket boat is the very common fishing tool at Bay Mau water coconut forest in Cam Thanh village, Hoi An. You can experience the feeling of driving the basket boats along the floating water, above the green coconut swaying in the wind and more interesting activities

Cooking Class in the village offer a wide variety of traditional Cambodian dishes. Includes an in depth visit to the village and the local market in the morning. The 3 hours classes are held every day. All classes are small in size – never more than 9 people (group) – to ensure adequate personal attention. Meet at your hotel, taking by a tuk tuk for shopping at the village market with an assistance from the school where you are going to learn more about Khmer cooking ingredients. The cooking class concludes of your own cooking dishes at the end, then lunch and then transfer back to your hotel.

In this type of service, it is much more familiar and customizable because, being the tour in private, we have some flexibility in changing the route, for example if it is foggy, we can take another road. Attention December 25th and January 1st we do not do excursions.

As arrive in the village, start the walk and head towards the homes of the villagers where we can see the activities like cooking, women with pots going for water, people with animals etc. We will have the school visit also(not available on sunday or holiday). Village life is completely different than the modern life. Customs and culture is still the same as earlier. The way people live and work is very different. People are involved in farming work and construction work. People live in huts or mud houses. People have animals for milk and use them for farming as well. People use cowpats(dried dung) and wood as domestic fuel for cooking. An unity can be seen among the villagers during any festival, wedding or if they have any problem. People live with fraternity and whole the village seems to be like a home when they have any happy or sorrowful moments in the life. after the visit we get bact to the hotel by drive.
