Take part in this experience and discover our farmhouse and our winery. We will start by visiting our Moscato di Trani vineyard a few steps from the property. We will present the peculiar characteristics and history of Apulian viticulture in the Itria Valley. At the end we will taste 4 of our wines and we will tell you their story and how they were born: – "Terra Viva", still red wine of Nero di Troia, IGP Puglia 13% vol .; – "Pietra Viva", still white wine from Verdeca, IGP Valle d'Itria 12% vol .; – "1 ° Luglio", still rosé wine from Nero di Troia grapes, IGP Puglia 12.5% vol .; – "Pietro 60", still dry white wine from Moscato di Trani grapes, IGP Puglia 12.5% vol. What a fantastic way to experience the winelands, from between the ears of a horse. Our 2 Hour trail ride will start off with a short lesson for novices, after which we will head out onto the trail. The trail will take you through orchards, along the Eerste River, across vineyards and up into the hills. The scenery is simply magnificent! Everyone gets exactly the ride they want, be that a gentle walk through vineyards, or a fast paced canter down a farm track.  In the event that we have a mixed ability group, the group will split up for trots and canters, so beginners can just walk. Your guide will be a local guide, with vast knowledge of South-African culture, the local area and natural horsemanship. Our horses are absolutely the heart of our business. We work with them through connection and natural horsemanship which means they are well trained, and gentle natured. We never ride the same trail twice, so expect a wonderful ride!

The visit begins at the wine cellar reception. Travelers are greeted by a bilingual guide who will invite them on a visit. This is the perfect place to learn all about the vineyard's history, the organic and bio-dynamic agriculture and the process of wine making, while enjoying panoramic views of the vineyards. The tank rooms, the beautiful and peaceful aging room and the architecture of the winery will be highlights of their visit. The tour ends with a wine tasting, either in the underground tasting room or in the outdoor terrace overlooking the vineyards. This service can be on shared transportation with a maximum group of 7 persons per vehicle. Yes, we do have face masks. We ask tour participants to please bring their own masks, ideally reusable. As we are an ecological company we prefer not to have to use disposable masks to avoid contamination.

Join us for a Half Day Guided Vineyard Walk which meanders for 3-5km through the vineyards, offering beautiful views of one of the Stellenbosch most beautiful wine valleys. You will have the chance to taste some award winning wines at two wineries along the way and ending the day with a light lunch. The walk with a wine guide also offers a closer look at what's happening at that moment in the vineyards and in the cellars.

Take a guided experience of the terraced vineyards overlooking the Gulf of Naples and the cellar, a natural lava stone cave with storytelling about the creation of the cave and the cellar. Start with a wine tasting of Vesuvius Lacryma Christi white, red, and extra dry rosé sparkling wine. The wines will be accompanied by a platter consisting of three types of cured meats and two types of cheeses. Taste the local olive oil production and sample 3 bruschettas with Vesuvius cherry tomatoes, aubergines in oil, and friggitelli. Sample the "casatiello,"  a leavened donut filled with cured meats and cheeses. Finish with a tasting of the extradry rosé sparkling wine, accompanied by typical sweet Neapolitan taralli.

Christos is a fun and passionate Greek host who enjoys meeting new people and sharing his knowledge of Greek cooking with them. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local culture over food. Your cooking class will take place in a cooking studio where Christos will teach you how to make three traditional Greek dishes from recipes she has perfected over the years. After cooking, you will enjoy your meal at one of the restaurant's indoor or outdoor tables.
